Great gig venue! Always enjoy myself there.

User

An awesome place to chill out enjoy live music and meet good people.

User

Rude staff, swapped the set up to have 2 separate areas both that you need to pay for. Got yelled at multiple times because of their failed system.
1st yelled at when we tried to enter the room out friends where playing in saying we had the wrong wrist bands
2nd yelled at when we went to the front door for a refund
3rd yelled at when we tried to walk through the back door to buy new wrist bands
4th yelled at when we were trying to go home. Because you have to walk through the main area again.
Used to be a cool place but I'll probably never go again after the rude treatment and horrid layout.

User

Great music and performance. Cool place to hang out for fun. Down side is they don't have chips!! 😁

User

Great place to go for some good drinks. But when they have bands on thats when the roof really lifts off with great entertainment and great times.

User

Can be quite loud with live music. Drinks are expensive but its a club. I saw starset here and it was awesome

User

Best place ever. Huge stage. Great lighting and sound system. Wonderful staff. Toilets could use a make over.

User

Reasonable range of beers on tap. Some pinnies in the corner and do have decent live gigs at times. Enjoyed it.

User

Amazing place for live music. Lot of options for drinks. The two stages were setup oddly, so it was a little annoying when they had alternative acts on each stage. Saying that if it was just one stage I wouldn't have had any issues.

User

Cool and quiet! Nice pool tables, bar and pinball machines. Like the guitars on walls and roof as decoration.

User

Great live music venue!!!! I hope it's around for ever.

User

It's grungy and dark, great band rooms and sound... it should be exactly what you expect of a bar called the 'basement'. Great Staff and fun atmosphere just don't get hung up on the carpet being sticky and the bathroom slippery and you'll have a fun night. Pool tables available too!

User

Amazing atmosphere since the refit. Hadn't been in years. Was blown away by the new look and feel. Needs a wider beer variety to complete the make over.

User

Cool place wiyh live music, good collection of beers and pool tables.

User

A Night In Texas at The Basement w/ RESIST THE THOUGHT + Iconoclast Thursday 20th September | 18+
TIX: https://bit.ly/2NZbJx8 🎟... _________________________________________ ___________________________ No rest for Satan! Fresh off their first European headline tour, Brisbane’s deathcore outfit ’A NIGHT IN TEXAS’ hit the road to abolish Australia this spring with support from Sydney’s ‘RESIST THE THOUGHT’ and Perth’s ICONOCLAST’. Unleashing a fierce and unique blend of satantic infused riffs, devastating breakdowns and face scorching vocals to create a recipe for doomsday.
Back from the dead are Western Sydney band 'RESIST THE THOUGHT'. After calling it a day in 2013 these NSW heavyweights have risen from the grave after the release of their crushing new single entitled “Set Me Free”. Whilst remaining fast and heavy, it featured a matured sound which stepped outside of the popularised ‘Deathcore’ feel to deliver a modern take on the bands traditional sound.
Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, ICONOCLAST will bring their heavy, technical, and melodic brand of modern death metal across the east coast, having just released their latest single ‘IN ASHES’ with more new material to be debuted on this tour!
