Excellent food,service and incredible venue with great views of Lake Burley Griffin and Canberra's many vistas.

Amazing staff - responsive, fast and personable. Food was just as amazing - never too rich or filling and had the perfect mix of flavours and textures. And the venue was spacious to allow a more personal experience. Highly recommended!

Staff were just as Excellent as the first 3 occasions we visited. Unfortunately the food was very average and seems to be getting worse everytime we visit ( first time there was in 2015 and the food was incredible. Not sure if the head chef has changed but currently the food is confusing, boring and seem to be a terrible mix of ingredients and components ( the gnocchi dish with the broth is simply disgusting and makes you want to cut your tongue out after the first bite, this is not a joke as both me and my wife started fiercely stabbing butter knives in to our mouthes). Not one dish out of the seven course degistation menu was memorable for a good reason or worth eating and was truly disappointing. The chef ( if the same one as always ) now seems to have the pallet of a 40 year old glue sniffer from the northbourne flats that has had some sort of blunt force head trama. I would recommend the boat house for the amazing views and superb front of house service but certainly not the food, if you want good food visit courgette. Really is not worth $350 for two people to eat and a bottle of wine. Thank you and if you go DO NOT EAT THE GNOCCHI THERE IS A CHANCE IT CAN KILL YOU!!!!

Great food but nothing revolutionary for the $'s you spend. Good table service. Well worth a visit

The staff were amazing, and the food came a very close second. Fantastic place to celebrate a special occasion, with brilliant views over the lake. Can't wait to go back.
