Great atmosphere, service and food. I'll definitely go there again.

Overall a great place to eat at. I ordered a salmon fillet. I had to wait for ages but it was worth it (the waiter said the first batch had been slightly overcooked, so they'd done a fresh batch). The fillet tasted amazing!

The second time I ordered a haloumi burger. It was great, and went well with the ginger beer that I bought on-tap.

Thought we had found a lovely place with lots of GF on the menu. Ravioli was cold and raw best bit was the dried figs. 20 minutes later I still have a foul taste in my mouth. Polenta chips cut way to big, cold and tasteless in the middle. Beef rib average. Chips should have been served with Main, came out as an entree. Spoke to the waitress who said "oh I could take them back but they'd just go cold.' We won't be back.

The coffee is great here but the 3 or 4 times I've eaten here the food has been just horrible. It always sounds good on the menu but is a substantial let down. Get new cooks.

Had a great night at Trivia on Wednesday. Good fun and great burgers. Beer wasn't bad either

Visited The Loft for a birthday party. Three other parties were happening too. Place was pretty relaxed, bar service was good, party food at the tables wasn't too bad.

Nice ambience and good food. Although the tables are tightly placed in the dining area you would not really mind as the overall experience should be fantastic.

This place is trying to be too fancy. Stick to your suburban pub roots. It doesn't even have week night deals anymore.

Last nite Pete was stuffed/burnt out fagging outside frequent, but we went back for more drinks & I hope smart carbs&protein! He had awesome choices of tucker plus soft/medium& nñ

Wonderfully presented food with terrific flavours. Finished off with tasty mulled wined and mulled cider. Great for the Canberra cold nights
Hmmmm sweet potato chips

Great menu...lots to choose from, even for a vegetarian..with many small vegetable "sides", deliciously prepared. Loved the modern, quality decor, divided into several areas, intimate but still with a very spacious, grand feeling. Variety of table shapes including round..great for conversation & sharing food!

Good food. Friendly service.
Not cheap but not too expensive.
Good range of beers
Modest range of cocktails and spirits.

The Duxton at O'Connor shop has been a favorite drinking hole from the early days as the 'All Barnun' up until now.

I have visited the Duxton 3 times this summer for drinks and some food with my partner and although I enjoyed some of the beer and the refurbished venue..... the food is average at best.

The pizza are flavorless and the first time we got a pizza they covered it in an odd tasting and over powering BBQ sauce that wasn't mentioned on the menu.

The chicken wings are also coveree in this BBQ sauce and leaves a sickening taste in your mouth. But perhaps others enjoy this BBQ flavor but no one at my table did. I would also suggest to them they separate the drumstick, winglet and discard the wing tips to make eating them more elegant. Seems lazy just to toss a whole wing pile of whole wings in a bowel.

Finally although I have enjoyed oysters there before and rated them highly, the last time I spend $48 on a dozen of then they were delivered to the table smelling like off chicken mixed and old seasfood shop. After eating one that was eatible but not awesome my partner and i decided to just leave them. The smell of the plate pretty much drove us to leave after one drink.

To sum up.... nice place.... nice beers on tap.... food is poor to average. I certainly hope they pick up their game in the kitchen. But I wont be eating there again. There's to many other great consistently good food places.

We bring our dog here and sit at the tables outside. A nice place for drinks on a Saturday afternoon. Reservations often necessary.
