The Floral Society

I love visiting the Floral Society counter in the new section of the Canberra Centre. Always a great variety of flowers and also nice bouquets available to grab and go. All the staff are lovely but special mention of David who is wonderful and makes the most incredible arrangements! Can't recommend more.

Went from $30 with free delivery to $40 + $8 delivery and you can't order for the next day. Was really good value and quality, dissapointed :(

Visited your store in the Canberra Centre and had a wonderful experience. A beautiful range of stock available and a very patient florist who answered all of my questions with a smile. Will come again!

Attempted to order flowers for my brother's funeral online but a problem with the site prevented the order processing so I phoned. Told by the person on the other end of the phone that the site works fine really?? This business was recommended so I persevered. Order was placed and paid for two days in advance with an agreed pick up time of 10 am. When I arrived to collect, the order had not even been started. Got a blank stare from the staff member and an offer of a refund. This is a badly run business with a poor attitude for customer service. They only got two stars from me instead of one because the arrangement they finally produced after a wait was nicely done. Shop here at your peril.

Coming from my own personal experience, I was really wanting spray roses for Mothers Day this year and at first when I e-mail the company, they needed 48 hours notice. (I didn't realise!) anyways a few hours later they found some! Just sent an e-mail for a refund and luckily they sent these beautiful spray roses out before they got to read the message. My mother loved them - I love them and I will be a returning customer. #satisfiedcustomer

The Floral Society have been amazing in the past, very affordable with free delivery, great staff, helpful. But suddenly A HUGE PRICE HIKE???????? It's gone from $30 and free delivery to $40 and $8 delivery just for the small. The medium was $50, now $80. The Large used to be $80 and now it's $140????? You can buy an equally if not better bunch for $80 at other florists. I understand prices go up but this is a bit much. If it was all $10-$15 more that is one thing but $60 more for the large?!?!?! The sizes of the bunches you recieve does not represent the prices. I used to use these guys for my relatives in Canberra to send stuff on Mother's day etc. I will be looking elsewhere because The Floral Society is now very UNAFFORDABLE for what you get. Disappointed.

I had a very disappointing experience with the delivery service. I put in an order requesting flowers to be delivered the next day. As I hadn't received any confirmation by the next morning, I sent another email, still with no reply. My flowers were not delivered the day I had requested, and I was only able to get a (quite unapologetic) response the day after when I called the shop. My experience with customer service didn't do much to improve the situation, as they seemed pretty unwilling to do anything extra to make up for this error (despite having a rapid delivery service option), and the flowers only arrived Tuesday when I had ordered them for Saturday. I understand errors do happen, and the flowers were very nice when they did arrive, but the customer service and delivery made the overall experience very frustrating.

My friend got her flowers today and they were beautiful! I can't believe how lovely they were for just $33, they look just as beautiful in person as they do on your website. I love that they were delivered for free also, and so quickly too. The whole process makes giving flowers so much simpler and the price makes them more accessible. I am also stoked that they were wrapped in paper and had a beautiful ribbon around them - no tacky plastic. You guys rock! Super happy customer!

I'm not one for reviews but feel like I should throw these guys some praise...I've tried a few of the 'popular' florist shops around town for my mum, nan and girlfriend but none stand up to this mob. The ladies who work in the shop (and I've dealt with a few) are always willing to help me out and are very nice to deal with. Every bunch I have ordered was loved by the ladies in my life. If you order on a Wednesday they also chuck in a free doughnut. Fellas, use this business for the ladies in your life.

Genius business model! Fresh and affordable arrangements that are consistently beautiful and anything but 'generic florist'. The staff were also a delight, going above and beyond to get a last-minute bunch to my sister who was in hospital. Thanks guys!
