I saw the post from yesterday afternoon (9/8) from the Green Shed Underground last night that had a picture of a purple ladies Dririder motorcycle jacket.

I called at 10:30 this morning (10/8) and left a message. I called again at 10:45 and spoke to a lady. I asked if she could put the purple ladies motorcycle jacket that was posted on Facebook yesterday on hold for me.

I went to the store after 3:00pm. The jacket that was put on hold was a black and blue men's motorcycle jacket (Daniese). I said that's not it. The lady said that she didn't see the post and wasn't working yesterday. I said to her that I said on the phone that it was a purple jacket. She apologised and repeated the same sentence to me.

Who knows when the jacket was sold, it could have been yesterday afternoon or today (if today because it wasn't put on hold for me).

Regardless, staff should be more familiar with what is being posted on Facebook. As for me specifically describing the jacket as purple and that not registering with the staff member is human error and I don't know what to say.



Anyway, very disappointed and frustrated when I left the store. Reluctant to call and have something put on hold again.



Also the voice mail message is generic and leaves you wondering if you dialled the correct number.

Love this place. I've pretty much stocked my house with furniture and art ect from this joint. Also found tonnes of great clothes there too. I love that they do ate to charity too. Support these guys, they deserve it

Brilliant. My house is 90% Green shed.

Good for cheap gems and random things that can be upcycled :0)

Lots of random stuff. Good place to get the odd bit of junk for projects. Cheap prices.

Good range but staff scarce

Second hand, old electronics are much too overpriced (you can buy new ones for cheaper!). All video games are sold for $5 and don't come with a product key. I highly recommend going to the Tuggeranong Resource Management Centre.

My favorite store in canberra. Free clothes to scavenge through. Good selection of books and dvd's

You can get amazing things here. Second hand goods of all types. Be prepared to haggle a bit because now and then they just charge too much but that tends to be rare.

Always easy to deliver items no longer needed and purchase preowned goods.

Decent selection of second goods, through there is no warranty, and sometime they try to over charge.

Great way to grab a bargain on something you want/need but dont need brand new. I find pricing is usually decent, however it depends who serves you really.. Sometimes things are a little overpriced sometimes things are cheaper than you would expect.
