BACKGROUND:
Hi, my name is Efsevia Papadopoulos and I am the owner of The Maid Will Do It. I have been working as a cleaner part time since 2005, but started working in my own business full time in February 2017.

Part of what makes The Maid Will Do It a unique company is that I oversee all the work personally. My staff are employed by me and are not subcontractors. Staff are interviewed and screened, and all staff have a Working With Vulnerable People card. The safety of you, your family, pets, belongings, and home are important to me.

We choose our client base carefully. Our clients have high expectations of the work we do, and in return we produce exceptional work and standards for our clients.

WHAT WE DO:
We work mostly within the Belconnen, Gungahlin and Inner North of Canberra, but we are planning on branching out to the southern suburbs in the future.

Prior to engaging our services, we would like to get to know you and will ask a few questions to see if we are a good fit for one another. We would also appreciate you taking the time to read the section below on how we work. We offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not pleased with the work we have completed, we will come back at a time convenient for you and we will rectify any issues you may have free of charge.

HOW WE WORK:
Over the many years that I’ve been cleaning homes in and around Canberra, I have established myself as a very thorough and exacting cleaner. This has taken time and trial and error to perfect. Therefore, we are pretty specific about how we do things, as well as what we use to do them. We provide all our own products and equipment at each job. This is partly a Workplace Health and Safety issue (all our electrical equipment is tested and tagged for electrical safety, and we keep Material Safety Data Sheets for all our products). We may use the following products throughout your home /business:

• Spray bleach (e. g: Exit Mould);
• Gel bleach (e. g Domestos)
• Cream cleanser (e. g Jiff)
• Disinfectant (e. g Spray and Wipe)
• Window cleaner (e. g Windex)
• Dishwashing liquid (e. g Palmolive)
• Oven cleaner (e. g Mr Muscle)
• Sugar Soap
• Eucalyptus Oil

We provide our own cloths. Fresh cloths are always used at each property and we only ever use paper towel to clean toilets with. Our cloths are washed in boiling water with a sanitising agent, so they are hygienic and ready to be used again and again.

Please note, we do not offer chemical free cleaning, and we are unable to accommodate clients that would prefer we use their equipment or products. We know our products and equipment and we are able to achieve our exacting results because of this. If you would prefer chemical free cleaning in your home, I am happy to assist you in finding a more suitable organisation.

We currently issue invoices for each completed job at the time of completion. Invoice terms are strictly 7 days. In the very near future though we are moving to a more automated system and will be using a Direct Debit system (Ezidebit), which will automatically bill you and deduct payment at the completion of each job. We are no longer able to accept cash payments. All our prices include GST.

OUR PROMISE /GUARANTEE TO YOU:
We will clean your home and leave it feeling fresh, clean and most importantly, hygienic. We will be there on the day we schedule, and will let you know in advance if we are unable to attend, and will endeavour to rebook your appointment as soon as possible. We provide our own insurance (including public liability, workers compensation, and personal injury protection).

We pay our staff above award wages, and we train them so they are able to provide you with the highest quality service. We will contact you in advance via email or text message if we are changing any of our fees, or terms of service.

YOUR OBLIGATIONS AS A CLIENT:
We require you to pick things up off the floor to enable us to give you the best possible results. This includes clothes, toys, books, games etc. Please let us know in advance if there are any animals on or within the property. You will be required to provide us access to the property via a key that we keep with us or a key kept within a lockbox that we have the combination for. We do not take responsibility for any break-in that may occur if you chose to leave a key under a mat etc, as we have no way of guaranteeing that someone doesn’t see us return the key.

Upon implementation of our Direct Debit system, you will be required to provide us with details for us to be able to direct debit your account or credit card for each completed clean. Until that system is in place, if you fall behind on a payment, we will not resume services until your account is brought up to date. Likewise if there are insufficient funds in your account or on your credit card once the direct debit system is being utilised.
