It's flashback Friday! A beautiful pic of George under the Commonwealth Bridge. George said that before the lake was built, there were many fruit trees there. When in season there would be plenty of fruit. He said also the first horse racing track is somewhere under the lake.

This food bus is awesome. Seriously fresh, tasty, interesting fusion street food made with love and served with a smile. Coming from Melbourne, nothing like it there. Awesome music playing as well. Great value.

Most people in Canberra know Mandalay, it's only open some days but it's great and not expensive. The seating is park type seating with cushions and a big heater

It would be an understatement to call it Canberra's best street food, always very lively and they are open till very late... I remember the time when I went there at 12:45 am on Friday night and they were still very happy to serve. I always go there with friends and we never get tired of the taste. Triple chilli wings and prawn twisters are the best and their specials are also amazing

Food truck serving Burmese food, I had the satay chicken roti with kimchi which was delicious. I wanted to try the Burmese noodles but they had run out. The waffle fries with satay sauce was an original dish never had it before, I enjoyed it! What's really cool is this place is open late, til midnight I believe.

Always a great feed and a cool spot to chill.
