The Pot Belly

expect $10 beers and a 45 minute wait for a small pizza while it's not busy, only to have the wrong pizza arrive

Pot Belly has a nice old pub atmosphere, friendly barman, and good craft beer. On my last visit they only served pizza, and it wasn't good. But they are happy for you to bring your take-away from somewhere else. They are planning to add more food eventually but are currently focused on putting in a brewery. The best feature of Pot Belly? It's never too loud.

Great Coke and chips for less than a dollar- hold on, that was in 1987 when I last went. Congrats on your 40th birthday this year! Well done Bruce Langridge who opened it 1977.

The new owners have given the place a facelift and really improved the mix of craft beers on tap. Great for a quiet afternoon pint.

Great atmosphere, can hold a conversation without shouting. Great selection of fine beers.

Amazing beer selections. Went for a function, so don't know what it is like normally, but was great for a small function venue.

Was alright. Decent food (pizza only), but only one staff. Was a quiet Wednesday night.

A great tap list but sadly that's about it for this place. The pizzas are the only food available, however they were prepared so incredibly slowly with the most basic ingredients and were pretty average. The place itself could use a bit of a revamp.
