Great scenic view. We can see a lot of kangaroos and wallabies there. But start early and pack food as you need more time to go for a round . There are a lot of walking trails, so those who are adventurous can have a walk. But the sanctuary is a bit boring as we can't see much birds and there were only a few ducks and also the water is too dirty. Those who are nature lovers likes the place.
You can see koalas too. But the place is a bit artificial.

Lots of wildlife and good short to day walks. Great place to bring visitors to get a taste for our unique animals and plants.

Beautiful location and so much wildlife. I went in September so all the wattle trees were in full bloom, definitely would recommend!

It is a place where I would like to live in! Love it to bits. A natural reserve where animals can live without the fear of humans... unfortunately only in reservations wild life is safe... If you have the chance to visit, just do it, you'll be more than happy to see happy kangaroos hooping everywhere, beautiful koala, different birds, we seen a venomous snake, I can't remember now all of them, but I can say that I visited the Tidbinbilla Reservation four times already and I have in plan more visits in the future!

Awesome! Remember to apply sunscreen and bug repellent.we saw a lot of kangaroos during the last hour of our visit. The kangaroos come out at 7 or 8 p.m. very beautiful place and fine weather. The koalas were still moving when we saw them. We also saw lots of birds and other wildlife. We didn't see the echidna though. We did spot a platypus and a long necked tortoise. The platypuses are harder to spot.

A very nice place to spend the weekend. The friendly and knowledgeable staffs will guarantee you a safe, pleasant trip in the nature reserve. A variety of lovely wild animals can be seen here. BBQ in the middle of kangaroos will definitely become piece of my best memories in Canberra
