Tillyard Drive Medical Practice

I have been attending this medical practice for over 10 years. I now live in Bungendore but if I feel I need serious attention I will always book in here. The level of attention and service is incredible.

Decent, if expensive. The doctor I saw was thorough and helpful.

I've been seeing the Doctors at Tillyard Dr Medical for over 7 years now and they simply go above and beyond what you expect from normal GPs. They are great, they treat you like a patient and human and not another number through the door. It really is quite easy to see why they were the winners of the Mix106.3 Best ACT GPs who were voted for by listeners.

I am a patience of DR Kotie Ras she is an excellent doctor.

The issue is the Receptionists who do not know how to do their job, give people fake hope for appointment, on the 8th September 2014 I called Tillyard Medical Centre for an appointment as, I was on strong medications, which make me itchy and unable to sleep for 3 days, when I called Tillyard Medical center I spoke to the one of the Receptionists I explained to her what happened, I need an appointment if possible early that morning as I worked away far from Belconnen , she said that she does not have any appointment on that date, but I can call her tomorrow 9th September 2014 at 8.00am, she will give me an urgent appointment, then she called me around 12 pm on that date, as I was at work I did not have time to check my phone till 5:15pm then I called them back I spoke to the Receptionist she again told me to call tomorrow morning at 8am, as Dr Ras is not there, I ask if I can see another female doctor.
When I called on the 9th September 2014 at 8.03 am, I spoke to Anne Marie the other Receptionist, I explained to her when was my conversation with them yesterday she told me that she has already booked other people, it is first come first serve, people can just walk in then they give them an appointment, I told her why you people told me to call in the morning, I was very frustrated, she keep saying that she does not have any appointment she can put me on cancel list, I then , asked if I could speak to their manager, she then transferred me to another Receptionist. At this point, I was disturbed that what kind of manager is this? As receptionist as now suddenly became a manager.”
It is not nice/ fair to treat people like me this way. Remember,’’ Health is Wealth’’, and as a matter of fact, Australia is developed country, and not a third world country, we promised to give people a prompt and effective health care appointments/services. I called this Medical Centre twice, they told us that there was no appointment, and on this second day, I woke up very early to prepared for this appointment
What kind of Medical Centre & Medical Receptionist is that, they do not care about people welfare, especially on health matter like this.
I urge the management of this Medical Centre to critically look in to this issue.
