Fantastic work

I learnt of some recent bad experience at this establishment and felt compelled to share my own experience from around 18 months ago. I regret not making this effort sooner.

This USED to be the go to repairer for any vehicle owner who seeks a genuine repair to their pride and joy.
Between the NRMA insurance assessor and this business, the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Paint matching seemed to be a process completely skipped. Appraiser/foreman; James, rude beyond belief. Accused us of many things including being 'too picky'. James teamed up with insurer and forced us to collect our car. When we visited and advised in person that we were not accepting the car in that state of repair, we were told we had no choice.
Luckily Mr Farrugia himself got involved and arranged the paint to actually be matched and offending surfaces re-painted. Actions appreciated but shouldn't have to come to that. Mr Farrugia was a gentleman. He took over the entire process, supervised a proper repair and ensured we were happy. The second of two stars of this review acknowledges this effort. My review would have been one star otherwise.

Until this point it the situation had reached the position of us booking the car in at a different repairer for it to be rectified at our own expense which is simply unacceptable.

Fantastic quality on the repairs on my RX-8. Very happy with the work, the communication and the service (pre- and post-).

Booked in for repairs, was happy to wait the 4-6 weeks without a car as I was told they do the best job in Canberra. I called this morning to confirm my booking tomorrow, only to be told my booking can't be found in the system! and the next available is 6 weeks away!! Not only have I had no car for 6 weeks now I have to wait another 6 weeks. Pathetic customer service - Avoid at all costs.
