We're saddened by the recent devastation in The Philippines caused by Typhoon #Haiyan.
We understand that trying to reach family, friends or acquaintances in the area is a priority in times such as these. So TransACT will be crediting back any calls made from fixed lines to The Philippines between 12:01am (WST) November 10 and Midnight (WST) November 30 inclusive.
These credits cover all calls made from landlines or VoIP lines to both landlines and mobile phones in The Philippines. You don't need to do anything in order to receive these call credits. The credits will appear on an upcoming monthly invoice. If you have any questions, call our Support Team on 13 30 61

Hi all,
Grapevine customers may be experiencing authentication issues when attempting to connect to the internet. Engineers are investigating currently.
Updates are available at: http://www.transact.com.au/…/suppo…/s tatus/FaultNotice-27435

User

Grapevine Email Update: 12,000 actively used Grapevine mailboxes have been experiencing access issues since 15 October when a drive used to store customer emails was corrupted.
As of this morning, webmail was restored to all customers on the Grapevine email system. Engineers have also been able to restore emails and POP/IMAP services to 7490 mail boxes.
Engineers are now working on delivering old emails to remaining mailboxes. We expect prioritised mailboxes to be rebuilt com...pletely early on Monday morning, with the remainder restored as soon as possible. The process is a long one because we are being cautious to make sure we do everything to ensure the integrity of the data. TransACT will continue to provide regular updates to this outage at: http://www.transact.com.au/…/suppo…/s tatus/FaultNotice-27057
We understand email is a crucial communication platform and this outage has caused many people difficulty. TransACT sincerely apologises to all customers inconvenienced by this unplanned interruption.
Once this fault is completely resolved, our engineers will progressively migrate grapevine systems on to the highly fault-tolerant iiNet platforms. These iiNet systems allow for rapid recovery in the event of serious corruption in the future.
Regards
Anthony Fisk, TransACT Communications
