New and exciting things are taking place at Unique Dental Care! We have Bec starting with us in June 2017, who is an experienced hygienist ready to assist our patients’ oral care needs. Dr Lee O’Neill has joined us from Bega, NSW, bringing his extended experience and laid back nature to the practice. Our team of gentle dentists and support staff will take care of you along with your family and friends. Are you cleaning correctly? You should be brushing for 2 minutes at least twice a day, plus flossing once a day. Technique is also very important, remember when brushing to angle the tooth brush at 45 degrees and use small circular motions for the best result. (Remember to replace your toothbrush when the bristles start to splay or every 3-6 months to reduce the amount of bacteria buildup). Flossing is best for in between teeth, ensuring to use a “c-shape” technique. For larger gaps we have other products available including brushes and dental tapes. Unsure how well you are cleaning? Welcoming our newest addition to the Unique Dental team - Dr Rebecca Sun! Dr Rebecca has joined us after graduating (with honours) from QLD last year, and enjoys treating all patients especially children. She has been working with us since April on Wednesday's, Friday's and is now available Monday evenings until 6pm and every second Saturday (by appointment only).
