Visited on a sunny summer afternoon - first impression was a well presented cafe. We ordered three cold drinks - after almost an hour we had only received one (a very weak and warm 'iced tea'). By the time we followed up we were told they were closing. No apology or explanation offered. Lots of staff about, but they seemed to be busy chatting to each other. Then we were charged a hefty surcharge on top of our bill. Would not recommend this cafe.

Always a good, consist brew to be had. Banana bread not too shabby either. Staff fast, efficient and friendly.

Breakfast was good, tea was horrible, coffee satisfactory. Service was poor - seated quickly but took agrees to get served, eventually having to stop a passing waitress.

Popped in for a quick coffee. Great atmosphere and great staff. Highly recommend

I had really bad experience here today. I walked in to find a young waitress and before I even said anything she told us to go back outside because there were people waiting before us. She didn't say please, didn't even ask us how we were or even a simple hello. We then went outside to find no one else waiting at all and empty tables. It was honestly so rude the we straight away left and went to another establishment. Find some better staff with some manners. Really poor service.

Great food, the Murcia eggs were delicious and a wonderful blend of flavors. Eggs Benny one of the best in Canberra. Only down side is the long wait because of understaffing but the food is faultless. Holds its own against 4 or 5 equally great cafes next to it!

Nice atmosphere and location, have been back twice to ensure first time wasn't a bad day, sorry to say same experience, coffee served luke warm, expensive food. Coffee and plain pastry $10.20 that's rude given the coffee was $4.80.

Worth a visit. Food was enjoyable.
