💜Wear it Purple Day is tomorrow!💜 Staff and Residents will wear as much purple as they can to celebrate and show our support for the queer* community at Ursies, the ANU and across Australia! Don't have anything purple in your wardrobe? No worries! We will have purple ribbons in the front office all day tomorrow, so remember to pick one up, tie it around your wrist, tie it to your bag, tie your hair up with it, and wear it purple! The ANU ALLY Network will have a FREE cupcake stall at the Pop-Up Village from 11am - 2:00pm tomorrow. The Ursula Hall Gender and Sexuality Advocates will be organising a resident event for Wear it Purple in Term 4.🌈

ANU Open Day 2018! Come along to Ursula Hall to hear about an amazing catered residential experience at the ANU. Plus you get to meet some of our friendly residents.

Ursula Hall is opening its doors as part of ANU Open Day tomorrow! Come along and meet some of our residents and join us for lunch. Plenty to do on campus and don’t forget to download the ANU Open Day app to plan your day.

In a true demonstration of the compassion and charitable nature of our community, our residents hosted a pizza night to raise money for drought-stricken farmers across the country. The night started with an idea by Amelia Bradley (pictured third from the left) a rural student from Grenfell, NSW. Amelia saw a fantastic opportunity to support a cause very close to her heart and help educate her fellow residents on issues that rural Australians face. Altogether, the initiative raised just under $400 for Rural Aid, an Australian charity dedicated to assisting farmers affected by the drought. We could not be prouder of Amelia and all our generous Ressies who got behind this great cause!

It is also worth noting that, while the standard bursaries open on the specified dates, Emergency bursaries (Undergraduate & Graduate) can be accessed all year if you are experiencing sudden short term, unexpected financial difficulty in meeting accommodation costs. These funds, if granted, are to cover the period of the emergency-assistance and not ongoing.
