VermiFert: providing natural, worm-based fertilisers for your farm, vineyard and garden.

VermiFert uses vermiculture (worm farming) to transform organic waste into biologically active solid and liquid worm cast for use as fertilisers. Our vision is to recycle nutrients from the urban environment to the rural environment through the broad acre application of our products.

Worm cast (or worm poo) and worm liquor (or worm tea) are great sources of soil microbes, nutrients and plant growth promotants. Worm cast can be used to top dress existing plants, be added to potting mixes when re-potting plants and added to the soil when planting new plants. Worm liquor can be used as a drench when watering and also as a foliar spray.
