Walt & Burley

We went in the afternoon and sat outside in the sun which was nice, was a bit windy/exposed but being late October want too fresh. Drink prices are pretty standard and service was good. Also not to busy.

Lovely setting. Had a fantastic rib-eye steak. Nice evening out with friends.

Burnt chips and dry burger with burnt bacon. I would be embarrassed to serve this up to my worst enemy. Shame this website won't let me give half a star. Wish I just went to Grilled instead, cheaper and better. Only good thing is the view and the coffee.

Great pub atmosphere with food. Little expensive however, but certainly worth a look in! Good selection of local wines as well!

I came here yesterday after being very impressed with their sister bar down the foreshore. Very different vibe but just as fun. I must say we were so happy with the service from Ash, I think his name was, he was lovely and very attentive and we overheard a conversation with him and a disgruntled customer and he was so professional, which we don't see much anymore. I would give 5 stars if it weren't for the price of the food. We thought it was a little expensive for what we were given.

Great pub in Kingston. Interesting beers on tap. Veal scalopini is excellent. Excellent staff with great attitude. Nice environment
with great views of the lake. Some nice sheltered areas outside. Great to visit in any season.

Some of the worst food I've had in a while. We had three of their overpriced Wagu burgers and all had undercooked meat. We could not eat them. The chips served with the burgers were saturated in fat and were also inedible. Tables had not been cleaned for a while as they were covered in sticky food and when wiped down, the napkin was black from accumulated dirt. The floors under the tables were no better. There is much better around the Kingston foreshore area. Avoid this place.

A lovely bar and cafe in Kingston. One of the places to be, in this trendy area. We will return. Would have given it 5 stars but for the pricing being on the high side.

Came looking for a different mothers day breakfast experience and got just that. Food came out in a very timely manner but what were those blueberry pancakes made of. Doughy and dry and just not edible. Coffee came out well after meals had been consumed. At least that was warm.

Its a great location and lovely place but our group waited an hour for food to arrive after ordering. It was the day after new years and they were apologetic for being under staffed. Food was ok.

Great industrial-chic vibe, good selection of drinks, prices on par with Canberra standards (that is to say a bit expensive but what you'd expect), friendly service.

Depending on when you go, this place can be quite different. In the early afternoon it's a fairly quiet spot, a great place to grab a drink and have a chat. After work though, it can be quite busy and loud.

Haven't tried the food but it seems to be glorified pub food. Nothing wrong with that but you're paying top dollar for it!

Tasty food, not to crowded, ok selection on the beer taps. Good view over the water.

Nice bar with a good selection of commercial and local beers, good wine list. Food is expensive but very nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food service can be slow when busy.
