10 City Bridge Run

About 10 City Bridge Run

A citizen-led initiative asking how might we use our networks to improve the delivery of child survival.

10 City Bridge Run Description

An epic journey which involved Matt Jones running 10 sub-marathons each if 24 km in 10 cities across would countries was completed at the beginning of 2015 in New York.

The journey commenced in Port Moresby on 17 September 2014 which was aligned with Papua New Guinea Independence Day.

Subsequent legs ran in Sydney, Singapore, Osaka, New Delhi, Shanhaiguan (China), Seoul, Glasgow, Toronto, and finally ending in New York.

It was a journey not without it's challenges, provided more than just a stunt to open the conversation asking "how might we use our networks to improve the delivery of child survival?" The running journey framed the epic quest that follows by creating a metaphor of what it takes to achieve something nearly impossible.

The epic quest continues, but now transitions to the Second Phase involving a series of 'Design Forum' to be help in each of the cities where running took place, and where your help and your voice are needed.

Through the series of Design Forum, together we will look for innovative and scalable ways to have impact through improving the delivery of child survival. Join us. There is no time to spare.
