Arrived to an empty cafe and still shocking service! Then the food arrived... what a joke. I got the taco trio. I'd be embarrassed to serve that. The 'lamb' was dried out shavings that had been cooked to death and the pork was dry and clearly had been cooked beyond saving. After about 5 minutes of waiting for the waitress to come over and ask if everything was ok or just any service at all really. I gave up and took my food up to the pass. After that the waitress went over to the pass yet completely ignored us. Eventually the guy from behind the counter came over and asked what was wrong. I told him and he did offer something else, but after the first meal and the complete lack of service I wasn't going to re order. Sat for a further 10/15 mins hoping to have the bill and yet no one came. No eye contact after looking constantly over at the waitress.

Went to pay and the cook came out to sort the bill. I am assuming this person is the manager.

Clearly wasn't bothered about the complaint and also wanted us to pay for the meal! What a joke. When I mentioned the lack of service she replied with "we are closing". Clearly can't be bothered with providing decent food or service 45mins before closing time.

I was told that the quality of the food being poor was "my opinion" and that the bill needed to be settled. I refused to pay for the taco trio and most places would never have put it on the bill in the first place. The reply was "well we tried to be nice"

And then the cook started to get an attitude when I was appalled at having the food on the bill. We then had smart arsed comments and waves as we left. Top notch role model for staff �
