4 Pines Manly

Consistently great food. I've enjoyed every meal here and today was no exception. Great twists on classic meals cooked to perfection make it worth the price. It's not cheap, especially as they don't have a children's menu, but I've never left unhappy.

Awesome place, very friendly, explained menu system (different for different levels) encourages shareplating. Not good for capitalist dogs. Good beer, highly recommended!

Review for the downstairs restaurant. Five stars for the beer, four stars for the food, three for value. The wait staff are slow to come to your table, but quick to remind you it’s table service if you come to the bar!

Lovely craft beers accompanied by tasty food and a great view. What else do you need? I went to both the upstairs pub and to Keller Door and they both have excellent service and great food 😊. However, 4 pines does not get five starts because I wanted to buy a growler of their citrus IPA and they were out of bottles :(.

4 stars for 4 pines! Great selection of beers, good food. The downside is the atmosphere, seating and service. There are more than 5 seats that can accommodate 8 people. This leaves multiple couples sharing tables because there aren't enough tables for each group. With the tasting boards, the service is slow and lines back up because each item needs to be poured and explained.

If it's a slow day, definitely go, if it looks busy, consider passing it up.

Somewhat of an anomaly in Australia ... something serving beer that wasn't watered down and light. It was an oasis. It's a beautiful place to drink a beer (or a flight).

Came to have dinner in the downstairs restaurant. Told we had to order food so we ordered dips and chips and would get main meals when friends arrived about half hour. Every ten minutes we were asked if ready to order - or would be cut off from drinks. Felt pressured. Said we will order lamb then after checking with friends running late. Then told there is no lamb left. Decided to leave as pressured to order. Very disappointing - one star for the decor.

Had the 3 for $20 small plate lunch special and everything was delicious and delightfully surprising for a pub style venue. Also shared a paddle of 5 sampler beers for $20 and each beer was really tasty and true to their descriptions. The wait staff were all friendly and chill. One of the ladies gave us some free stickers to take home! Overall, we were impressed by 4 pines and would return Ina flash.

My favourite watering hole. Relaxed vibe, with friendly barstaff and a great selection of beers and ales, some good food options too (pint and ribs being my favourite!). If you haven't visited before, try the tasting rack or just drop down for a session. Located just across the road from Manly Wharf.
