4ESYDNEY HIPHOP CONFERENCE
4ESydney opens the floor to having honest uncensored dialogue, putting the HipHop scene and creative industries under the microscope, dissecting and analysing what is really going on, finding new ways to make it healthier and more sustainable.

It’s all about the power and exchange of knowledge, of culture, of history and sharing experiences which have impacted our lives. It doesn’t matter who you are, how old you are or where you are from, we all hold knowledge and experiences which allow us to be both teacher and student.

The conference is led by industry professionals, artists, academics, community and HipHop pioneers, and structured to be interactive with a combination of discussions, roundtables, workshops, networking events and more.

Join us as we explore the bright lights and dark nights of the forever growing HipHop culture which is driving youth-led movements around the world.

4ESYDNEY HIPHOP FESTIVAL
A day of serious talent, featuring over 100 emcees, musicians, poets, breaker, dancers, graffiti writers and street artists, right in the heart of Bankstown.

Every year the festival is getting bigger and better, attracting new faces and seeing the return of many familiar ones. The festival has drawn local and international opportunities, as well as, nominated at the 2016 National Live Music Awards and winner of the 2018 Zest Award for best Community Business Partnership.

4ESYDNEY MENTORING WORKSHOPS
We believe in the power of HipHop, with it’s ability to engage young people and assist in breaking down their barriers. We advertently use the 4 main elements of HipHop culture: emceeing (music), b-boying (dance), graffiti (art) and DJing--to help young people amplify their voice, tell their stories, and belong in their community.

Our workshops harness and develop talented emerging artists, and make them talented-er.

Currently, we have opened 2020 registrations for music, graffiti and dj'ing. Dance and others to soon follow.

THE RESULT
By spreading the good word of HipHop to the wider community and engaging those who wouldn’t normally appreciate it, we allow young people and artists to develop a sense of who they are, and their value to the community is shared and expressed.

HipHop is the largest sub-youth culture in the world, by learning to understand HipHop you are taking the time to learn and understand them. 4ESydney is not just about HipHop. It’s about bringing people together, self-expression, identity and respect - putting the unity back in commUNITY.
