My passion is to see the older generation stay fit and be able to enjoy life for as long as they can. The more physically fit you are the better equipped you will be to perform everyday tasks, travel and be able to do the things you love.

We cater for all levels of fitness with emphasis on improving strength, aerobic and anaerobic functionality.

We utilise dumbells, medicine balls, flexibility stretching and some light boxercise.

Weight loss and core strength are prime focus points.

Preventative Ageing

As people age from 50 years old and on, strength training counteracts the insidious changes associated with age of decreasing bone density and muscle mass, two factors that are causes of significant morbidity & loss of functional independence .

For the active , fitter older person strength training is important as a preventative & maintenance tool .

We at 50 + Fit will train you with the following objectives:

Improvements in:

• Cardiovascular risk factors
• Risk Factors for falls
• Onset of Depression

About 50 + Fit

My name is Paul Habojan, I am 63 years old, have 4 adult children and 3 grand children. I have been training people of all ages for many years and have seen some incredible results. I feel very proud that I have helped some people achieve fitness levels they never thought possible. My focus now is to build self esteem through disciplined training for both Men and Women from 50 years of age and upwards.

My Professional Fitness Industry Involvement:
• I have been training boxing / gym / strength classes since 2000 and run several sessions every week.
• My background training was primarily with City Tattersalls Club for the past 25 years where I ran some fitness and boxing sessions
• I also perform some Personal training classes
• Level 3 / Certficate 4 – Registered Advanced Exercise Professional Qualification with Fitness Australia. (Rego. No. 005487)
• 50PlusFit – ABN 73610512796

My Background qualifications:
• Fitness Instructor – Gym Instructor Cert. 111 registration awarded May 2000
• Fitness Instructor – Gym Instructor Cert. 1V registration awarded 2004
• Certified Strengthening for Over 60s Leader Training Workshop performed in November 2010
• Currently undergoing a Certified Functional Aging Specialist Program
