I don't even want to rate this, but I must in order to post this. I went to this florist today. It is clear they cannot deal with more than one customer at a time. I waited 15minutes without acknowledgement. The person there clearly saw me walk in and did not even smile and say hello. I walked around with some arrangements in my hand hoping to get her attention, but again, she ignored me. Poor customer service to me means not greeting a customer at all, not even reassuring them that they will be with them soon. To me, that is the essence of a good sale. If I had been acknowledged, I would have waited. I walked out and I am not going back. Remember, substandard customer service is talk that travels quickly

I hired A&L Florist to make my wedding bouquets last September. I gave them photos of what I wanted which were 4 small posies of daisies and yellow billy button and 4 buttonholes for the groomsman that were to be made from yellow billy buttons. I put a strong emphasis that the billy buttons were the most important flower to be used. All was booked in, the flowers were in season and they were to be picked up the morning of the wedding. The florist said their would be no problems getting these flowers.With the help of friends and family we made our own flower arrangements for the reception and I sourced the flowers from the flower market the week of the wedding. Plenty of daisies and billy buttons to choose from at many different stalls. The day of our wedding comes along and you guessed it, they did not do a very good job. They got the daisy right but instead of yellow billy buttons, they used a very ugly yellow flower which looked like a weed. I called them up to ask what happened to the billy buttons and they told me they are not in season! So i asked why there were so many than at the flower markets that week and why my reception venue is currently full of a flower that is apparently not in season and impossible to get. To their credit, they did take back the bouquets and button holes and fixed them up with billy buttons just in time. But I did not appreciate the stress of chasing after flowers and arguing with florists the morning of my wedding. They never apologised for their stuff up either. I was going to make the bouquets myself but thought I would save myself the stress and hire the professionals. Wish I saved myself the money and the stress and stuck with my original plan. If you are a bride looking for a florist, keep looking. These guys are not to be trusted.
