Yes we know that most podiatrist are known for cutting toe nails shaving hard skin of feet and looking after . . . yes your Nan! Our focus is on activity - we are focused on helping people with muscular aches and pains, posture and problems that may occur from walking or poor foot mechanics (Foot Posture). Our patients are more likely to be 8 than 80 ! We see families interested in being happy healthy and active! Our clinics are often described as warm friendly and loud! Come try us see the difference!

Lucas.... what a champion тАУ he has come such a long way! We started seeing Lucas towards the end of last year as he was always tripping and falling.
Lucas would walk into our offices and sometimes it would seem like he was about to trip over nothing ... maybe anything!
... Sometimes people just put this down to clumsiness ЁЯШЯЁЯШЦ Nope, not us. It was obvious to us that when we first saw Lucas his toes pointed in quite significantly and this was likely contributing to him always tripping and falling. Therefore, we got Lucas into some new kicks to help stabilise him, orthotics to control the foot posture and muscle fatigue, and enormous amounts of glute exercises to help rotate him out!
It wasnt easy, but weтАЩve come away with some excellent results. Mum has noticed he has been much more stable and is tripping much less. Well.... thatтАЩs a lie тАУ Lucas is doing so well with the way he walks now it isn═Ыt even a concern for Mum anymore so she doesnтАЩt even notice his walk. Preparation before your laser treatment тАУ yep, itтАЩs serious business!
Too often we hear of people who have unsuccessfully tried laser therapy elsewhere to very poor results. We often think itтАЩs because no preparation occurs before laser therapy.
Laser is only as effective as the preparation, and the aftercare. We hear of people going to see their podiatrist for laser treatment only to be thrown into a room where they place their feet into a laser machine box. ЁЯШЦЁЯШЦЁЯШЦЁЯШЦЁЯШЦЁЯШЦЁЯШЦЁЯШЦЁЯШЦЁЯШЦЁ ЯШЦЁЯШЦЁЯШЦЁЯШЦ...ЁЯШЦ
These are the feet as Nancy, and there was no way we were going to do laser on her toes until we could clear away as much of the bad nail as possible. We can see NancyтАЩs toenails have been cut back, cleared, and filed. We do this as it clears to fungus away, allows the laser to penetrate through as effectively as possible, but also allows all of the aftercare products to penetrate through as well.
Remember.... laser therapy can only be as good as the preparation that takes place beforehand, and the aftercare that occurs post-treatment ЁЯШГ

If only I came here earlier Oh gosh, how often we hear that saying! Kevin was quite an unhappy camper тАУ both metaphorically, and literally тАУ Kevin did enjoy camping! However, camping was even a struggle for Kevin. Kevin HAD been suffering heel pain for a very, very long time at around 5 years. His pain was something he felt he could deal with initially, but then it became a constant debilitating pain which reached 9/10 on the pain scale. OUCH!!
He saw his GP who said what ...we hear all of the time: REST and Stretch (ЁЯШЦЁЯШЦЁЯШЦ NOOOOOOO) тАУ much to no relief. We roll our eyes at this тАУhow can you rest your foot when you still have to work?
We here at ASA couldnтАЩt, so why would we tell our patients that! Nope, we want you to KEEP GOING, and we will work with you and your pain in the meantime. Kevin changed his footwear, got a pair of orthotics for his foot posture, and begun shockwave therapy to sort this out based on our recommendations. How is he going now? Well, based on this photo with Dr. Ryan, you can assume correct in that he is going VERY WELL and is now PAIN-FREE. Kevin actually went camping the weekend before this and was amazed he experienced no pain. Zip, zilch, nothing тАУ now a 0/10 on the pain scale! BOOM! ЁЯТе
