I had a wonderful experience with Abbey Fireplaces, and am surprised by the other reviews. Everything was done on time and they always called me back. I have had the fireplace for nearly a year and it has not missed a beat. I couldn't be happier.

The guy who runs it (Jared) could not be any worse. If I documented every email and interaction with him it would be about 100 entries. Their team is not entrusted to respond or make quotes nor arrange installs. Everything has to be done by Jared. He ALWAYS promises that he'll return a call or text but NEVER does. Emails go completely unanswered. Unfortunately fireplace stores are few and far between and they generally have territorial distributors, so it is very hard to find alternative sellers (but they are out there!). I've never worked so hard to give someone money before.

Never have I had to work so hard to buy something. Calls are never returned. I had to make repeated calls to organise site visit. The site visit then got cancelled a few hours before they were due to come out. I never received a call to reschedule, so again I made multiple calls to organise a new time, with promises of call backs that didn't happen. If I have to work this hard to give them my business, then I would be an idiot to ignore the warning signals and hand my money. Its no coincidence that there are many bad reviews for this business.
