The player accused of hitting the teen has been charged by police, and now the local league is appealing his three-week ban as being too lenient.
The appeal announcement came less than a day after West Coast midfielder Andrew Gaff was given an eight-week suspension for striking Fremantle's Andrew Brayshaw.

I have always enjoyed the The Offsiders, but as of this morning I won't watch anymore. After the comments towards Margaret Court. For a public service who are supposedly "fair" I found the comments disgraceful. I don't watch Think Tank for the same reason, when the panelist Mat made the same comments and McDermott made light of the situation. Sad, so very sad.
