About Face is an amazing salon. The staff are incredible - very professional and friendly. Its wonderful to be able to return every couple of months and have familiar faces who know how you like your hair done! Can't recommend them enough!

My experience with About Face was extremely disappointing. I went to get my makeup done and was made to wait 40minutes after my scheduled time before they even started my makeup. Once I sat in the makeup chair, the owner came out and said to her employee that this has to be quick and she doesn't have time to do my makeup right in front of me. This was extremely unprofessional and rude to say in front of a client. The makeup was very rushed and was done in less than 30mins, she asked me to look into a mirror about 5metres away when she was finished, so I obviously was not able to see how well the makeup was applicated up close. I was charged about $120 which I think is a very unreasonable price for the service that I received. Once I was able to see the makeup up close, the foundation was the incorrect colour for my skin, very patchy and not full coverage which was what I asked for. The eyeshadow was also not blended at all and it looked very dirty on my face. I ended having to take it off and do my own makeup for the event I had. To be paying that price for a face of makeup, I would expect it to be flawless.

I was assured that I was going to get the colour I wanted but ended up with patchy hair. I got another hair dressers opinion and they told me that I should get a refund because of how bad it was. The salon told me their policy is to fix it first before giving a refund but I didn't want them to fix it so they got a colour specialist in who also told me my hair was fine. I demanded my refund and they refused me. They were extremely nice when I first came in and once I asked for a refund their attitude completely changed. I was not happy with their service at all!!

Was assured I would get my desired colour. Came out completely different than promised. Extremely disapointed with service

Lovely staff. My hairdresser was Annette and she was amazing. She listened to what i wanted but had helpful advice to make sure the cut suited me. Best cut I've had in forever!

Best place to get your nails done, no drills, all trained staff. Bianca is the best nail technician I have honestly ever come across. Nothing is too much trouble

Best place i have ever had my nails and beauty treatments at. Kate, Trudy and her team are all fantastic people. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Makes you feel like part of the About Face family when your there.
