Anna Steinhaus works as an Osteopath at Northern Suburbs Therapy Centre in Bulli NSW.

Osteopathy is a medical discipline based on manual diagnosis and treatment of impaired movement within the human body.
An Osteopath recognises the link between the structure of the body and the way it functions. Impaired movement between different tissues of the body result in impaired functioning of the body, thus causing illness.
All structures and functions in the body are interrelated. This means that osteopathy looks at the whole body system as a holistic unit and treats not just the affected area.
Using skilled evaluation, diagnosis and a wide range of hands-on techniques, osteopaths can identify important types of dysfunction in your body. By restoring mobility osteopaths take away the obstacles that impede your auto-correction system, thereby allowing it to find a new balance. The result is either a full recovery or at least an improved quality of life.

Taking a holistic osteopathic therapy approach, Anna considers the role played by mind and emotions in health and disease. With a vast experience in treating a wide range of health issues for all ages, Anna treats patients with a variety of general osteopathic conditions. Specific exercises and dietary modifications may also be recommended.
Through her wide professional knowledge and work experience Anna can identify important types of dysfunction in your body, help you getting back on your path of health and /or refer you to other health care professionals if necessary.


Anna has always been passionate about Health and Wellbeing. Anna came to Australia 2011, where she obtained a Certificate of Whole Body Massage (Massage Association Australia) and a Diploma in Sport and Fitness at Australian College of Natural Therapies (Fitness Australia).

2013 she obtained her Australian Osteopathic Registration.

As also holds a degree as a European qualified Physiotherapist . She worked for 8 years in a Hospital in Zürich, Switzerland, treating surgical, orthopaedic, intensive care and ambulant patients. Parallel to her work she studied Osteopathy. After finishing her studies in Osteopathy with the International Academy of Osteopathy in Gent ( Belgium) and the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in London (UK) she became self-employed as an Osteopath and worked for 3 years in the Center of Osteopathy Zürich, Switzerland with great success.

•Certificate in Massage (Australia).

European approved Qualifications:
