Top 3 tips to increase shoulder range of movement
1. Using a bar or broom stick, push with the opposite hand as your gradually move into external rotation. You should feel the stretch in both the back and front of your shoulder.
2. Child's pose. Adopted as a yoga pose you crouch down and slowly walk your hands away from your body. This is a great option to open up your lats.
... 3. Standing next to a wall or door frame, bring your arm up to 90degrees. Move your body forward until you feel the stretch in the front of your shoulder
These simple exercises can be used in both your warm up and cool down.
Perform each one 3 times per shoulder holding for approximately 20sec each
