About Afghan Peace Foundation

The Afghan Peace Foundation (APF) is a non-profit organization based in Western Sydney. Our headquarter is in Parramatta and our sub-office is in Auburn, NSW. APF is committed to work for the betterment of newly arrived Afghan refugees in Australia, and for Afghan refugees who have settled in Sydney. The charity works in to support Sydney's Afghan communities in five key areas: 1. Employment & Leadership2. Refugees Settlements 3. Mental Health Issues 4. Afghan Seniors Clubs5. Community Development & Culture FestivalsOur Vision: Refugees and immigrants, especially those who have experienced wars and persecution, leading self-sufficient and dignified lives in a socially inclusive society. Our Mission: APF works with refugees and immigrants, particularly those who have recently arrived from Afghanistan and experienced wars and persecution. Our aim is to improve their quality of life and to promote their social and economic inclusion in order to enable them to become contributing members of society and to live in dignity.
