It's day three of the Alphabet Street experience and our Year 8 students are roaring to go with sore legs!
Today's the day where they begin synthesising all their research to start creating their news segments. Many groups have turned to different locations for inspiration like the University of Sydney, Channel 7 News, Paddy's Markets and the Chinese Gardens.
The heat is dialled up as they all come together in these final hours to get their last interviews, surveys, research and presentations done!
It's day 2 of the Alphabet Street experience where all of Year 8 venture out into the City for a week to investigate an inquiry question they wrote up together in groups.
So far, students have gone to Customs House, The Powerhouse Museum, The Apple Store, Cockatoo Island, Hyde Barracks Museum, Louis Vuitton, the State Library of New South Wales, Queen Victoria Building and so many other places!
We are very impressed with their confidence and creativity and cannot wait to see their final products.
