Reviews
Great people! Great place to shop!
What can i say its a Aldi always find a bargain or two
Definitely the best supermarket in town in my opinion. Has a pretty good selection, low prices and really good customer service.
The electronics are bad, I've had 3 faulty tablets and one blew up. But the low prices are great and the food is great.
Local Aldi with good parking
Great staff. Great place to shop. No unnecessary frills and nonsense!
Without a doubt the cheapest supermarket but doesn't have all items to complete your weekly shop.
Friendly staff good prices plenty of parking close to store wheel chair friendly
Disappointing that the staff were aren't aware of the options when using eftpos and paypass. No, I don't appreciate being told I can't use paypass/tap'n'go over $100. And certainly didn't appreciate the attitude... 😠
Always friendly prices good. Clean tidy shop
Friendly staff. Helpful. Great range
Many savings at Aldi.Best thing that ever entered into the market place.
Easily accessible and quiet of an evening.
Best prices, great quality. Excellent wine!
So good it will blow your mind.
Fantastic value for money. Reckon our weekly shop is halved when compared to Coles or Woolies.
Good, decent parking, and nicely air conditioned! Excellent for a population with median age of 52 (Australian average 38)
Back to Aldi Bowral today, wow! Fantastic refurbishment and lots new products.
love ALDI Bowral. Love the reasonable prices, Definitely love the good quality products & the best of all the service is always outstanding. Good on you guys.
So cheap! And good quality!
Wide aisles. Plenty of variety and easy to see and access. Very friendly staff who are happy to assist.
Great prices and I like the catalogue that we get in the mail every week.
Friendly always. Variety of product very good pricing.love it good for the whole family.
Great store. Easy to get in and out of. Loses a star due to stock not being replenished promptly
Always friendly staff that remember you and have a chat. A local shopping experience.
Its an Aldi. If you have ever been to an Aldi you'll know it. If you have never been in an Aldi: its cheap, has everything you need and you will get tough there quickly.
Not enough disability parking - only 2 places in a town full of retirees who take all the disability parking spots.
Cheap organised and beats their competitors hands down everytime.
Speaking as an Aldi connoisseur, the Queanbeyan store is one of my favourites. The NZ contingent on staff are always friendly and striking, and among the customers, the regular Queanbeyan folk are nicely seasoned by regular visitations from ferals in from the hills who look as if they are stocking up for the Apocalypse.
Great place shop hear all the time easy parking
Good service, overall good prices, good parking.
Dudnthave simple groceries that I needed. So I left with nothing and walked across the road to Woolies.
Parking very good. Standard Aldi, most products good quality at good prices.
Nice but Majura Park Aldi is nicer.
Good store. Great parking. Rude staff
The Puff Pastry is rubbish.
It is far thinner than Pampas I always use and has no flavour what so ever and it doesn't brown as beautifully as Pampas .
This Aldi sometimes has products the other outlets do not have
Close.
Nothing bad here tipical Aldi good products and cheap pricing
Super fresh produce. Great prices.
This is a good Aldi, but the layout is not as great as it could be. It is definitely catering to the weekday corporate employees
Recently refurbished. Great selection of groceries and fresh fruit/veg at cheap prices. Beware: Aldi charges credit card surcharge (unlike Coles/Woollies) so bring cash or EFTPOS. Also, checkout staff are in a hurry to serve others and often do not give you enough time to pack your groceries in bag and put cash away in wallet!
The recent remodel here has made the store look a lot nicer. I haven't been impressed with the produce here and would prefer the Cole's just across the street. The middle aisle usually has an interesting assortment of impulse type buys.
I would like to thank Andrew (who I assume is the manager) and Herman. Herman was a great help loading a particularly heavy special buy into my car and ensuring that it was safe for me to drive home. Andrew is incredibly switched on and is a very competent employee, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with.
Tip for those picking up heavy/bulky items, there is a loading zone at the back of the store! Was a godsend for me picking up a 40kg item!
Great place to get some bargains and great selection which continually improves. Have been shopping here on and off for at least 10 years.
So glad ALDI expanded the North Sydney store and improved its layout. Now... if only there was somewhere to park the car without it costing an arm and a leg. That's if you can find a park within walking distance when loaded up with groceries. Maybe Aldi could come to a rebate arrangement with North Sydney Council, similar to the one council already has with its own North Sydney Olympic Pool.
Rarely have sufficient checkouts open to meet customer demand. Staff cleaning the floors are more important and expect customers to move out of the way. The facelift/renovation earlier this year was great and was much needed.
In and out of this Aldi only for essentials (bread and milk). There are better Aldi stores in Sydney both in terms of range and parking convenience.
Hopeless customer service. In there a couple of days ago, in the mailing list and Facebook page and no warning of a 10 day shutdown starting today. Clueless management sent young inexperienced staff outside to apologise. Major loss of good will.
One of the best Aldis I have been too.
Great bakery really friendly and helpful staff. Only problem is parking with all the local condtruction.
Other people seem to like Aldi for its slightly lower prices, but I find the quality to be hit and miss, and maybe I'm just very slow, but it takes me a long time to find anything in this store. There is a lot of junk available, and a lot of frozen food. There is little fresh produce, and it is of a low calibre. Sometimes I go here just to buy maple syrup, because all real maple syrup available commercially in Australia is pretty bad, so I might as well get it cheaper. That's probably the best I can say for this place.
good. but a bigger range would make it great.
Aldis is always good for those few favorite you like to buy
Not as nice as one of the newer stores but still great value for everything
Love this store good quality home brands and great value
Love this store, parking underneath, elevator and mostly clean and trolleys available upstairs. Staff are friendly and helpful.
What more do to need to say about Aldi. Great competition to big supermarkets. Store is good with plenty of parking.
Great to shop there as they have most things that are needed and some of the special from weeks back are still there.
A lot of parking space and easy for disabled people as there is a lift to accomodate.
This time round they had great mandarins which seemed to be in season and very sweet.
Always great prices...
Its okay. No liquor section like many other stores. Were out of stock of many fresh food and meat items in the middle of the day.
Has just about everything I need, some are brand names. heaps of products made in Australia with most of those made from Australian produce not imported produce keeping money in Australia and giving so many jobs. Some items I need to get from other supermarkets as i frefer the pruduct i get there and some items like bird seed are not sold at Aldi even though cat and dog food is. Can't understand as so many like me either have birds or /and feed wild birds.find the eggs a bit expensive and bred at as long as other supermarkets as i don't use much bread. Turns mouldy too quick.
Fairly big Aldi store, ideal for tourists and locals who are just looking to buy some essentials.
I wish to comment on the dirty condition of the Umina Aldi lift.
I regularly shop at the store and the lift dirt is getting worse.
Would be nice to load our trolleys with food into clean lift.
Hope something can be done
If your visiting Manly and are after a cheaper alternative to Coles in Manly then this is it. Store is clean and has all the basic products on offer. Dont expect Fantastic service but on par to Coles.
Nice prices, friendly staff. Amazing location.
Beautiful Aldi and nice and helpful staff (esp. Ben)
Decent Aldi - not a big store, but still a good range of food and good prices. Really great to see an affordable option in such a popular spot
We always go to either Coles or Woolworths, but we opted for Aldi for a change in this afternoon 24th May 2017, and we won't be returning again due to No Customer Service when you need to ask/check on anything.
There was an only one staff member in entire Aldi supermarket the Cashier who displaces utter disinterest in anything to do with customers; de-motivated, lazy, and simply avoids the eye contact at all costs with aloof attitude.
He was too good for Aldi and reasonable Customer Service from him is to expect a goat to turn into a sheep.
Worst customer service. Have never experienced such disgusting treatment. Blatantly rude to customers at the check out.
Had just what we needed for a good price. Fantastic quality too.
Good and cheap supermarket. Like all Aldi's
Great alternative to Coles supermarket right near the wharf.
It's just another aldi
Well priced groceries easy parking
Thanks so much to the staff tonight. Left the store and bag ripped and a glass bottle broke. Cashier rushed out, helped clean up and replaced the bottle and bag free of charge. Great service. Thanks!
Love this shop 😊😊
Love Aldi, best thing that happened in Australia supermarkets.
Can't stand Cole's. Haven't shopped at Cole's since 2008 when they removed my favorite cheese and replaced with Cole's plastic rubbish.
Great store layout, good selection of standard Aldi brand items.
Very nice manager and staff. Shop here on a regular basis.
A special buy item on the front page of the Aldi flyer was quickly sold out the morning it went on sale. I asked an Aldi worker how many they had in stock that morning before opening, he said 8. Aldi probably had ten thousand plus flyers sent to local houses with this special buy item on the front cover and they thought stocking 8 items was suitable. He said all the Aldis on the Northern Beaches were sold out, probably due to under stocking like Warriewood Aldi. If every Aldi on the Northern Beaches had 8 front page special buy items in stock that would be 56 items for over 250,000 people.
I think Aldi's stock management team needs to go back to primary school and learn some basic maths to avoid consistently wasting everyone's time. To top it off when trying to leave the store disappointed and empty handed, you can't! There are no exits, just crowded checkout lanes you have to squeeze through...
Great store.
Great service. Always get bargins
Great
Staff are friendly, some item's are cheap whilst others are poor quality.
Always enjoy shopping at Aldi. Great range and prices. Some products are hit and miss but the quality is always consistent. Staff are always nice and approachable. The stock can low if you come on certain days. Nice and easy to park below the centre and there are a few Aldi trolley returns down in the carpark- if you are lucky enough for them to not be filled with very inconsiderate people's Coles or woolies trolleys :/
Shopping is always easy here.
What can you say about Aldi They are the company that made the other large supermarkets reduce their prices however they need more brand name products nobody needs to go hungry as their pricing is good especially for families
Great place for everyday shopping. Most products are good quality. The greek yoghurt is excellent and cheap and extra tasty cheese nearly as good as Mainland but half the price. Version 2 or the upgraded stores have better fruit and vegetables than Coles and Woolworths. Their special buys are always interesting, but they do tend to make you spend more than you wanted to.
The best shopping experience if you're looking for great pricing, variety of products, bargains and quality. Staff efficient and helpful. Couldn't be happier than when I'm shopping at Aldi.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Always easy to get in and out.
Cheap prices and good service. Different, but good.
Great Aldi store. Clean and well laid out. Great range of everyday products at good prices.
Friendly staff, well presented complex with great weekly specials, also has a liquor store within the store.
Great prices. Not sure if any food sold there is made in Australia. All packaging just says packaged for Aldi
I like Aldi it was on our way home
Its convenient right next to the bunninings hardware
What you'd expect from Aldi. Cheap prices, random bargains and factory style checkouts. The lines can be long so don't expect to duck in for milk.
Good, I foolishly knocked a salsa jar and smashed it whilst not paying attention and the staff were very friendly while they cleaned it up.
Conveniently located with very good pedestrian access and a bike rack.
Genuinely nice place to shop at haven't had any dramas :)
A bit difficult to get to the place in the busy traffic area. But shop is wonderful. More better stocked than the other Aldi supermarkets in town.
Great Aldi store. Friendly helpful staff.
It is a very relaxed way of shopping and the prices are great along with the staff.
Good tidy store, everything you expect from Aldi. Easy parking
First time I visited an Aldi after 12 years (once in the Netherlands) and I was pleasantly surprised how the standard was raised. Neat, spacious and a good variety of goods. Even organic too. Unfortunately a lot of the veggies were pre-packed, but for veggies I prefer a specialist anyhow.
Also some good large packages like giant pots of dried tomatoes and pickles. And a good selection of dark chocolate!!!
Good variety ..easy parking
The staff are very friendly and helpful, unfortunately two times i've had my card decline. But the checkout server wasn't rude about it and waited while I ran to my car for cash!
Out of all the Aldi stores I have been too, Mayfield store layout is spacious and very tidy! The staff are quick to open another check out isle, when they see a queque forming. Love Mayfield Aldi!
Heaps of variety at mayfield store, often extra bargain discounts, variety of products friendly staff, great coffee expressi,
Good layout easy parking have everything I need
Wow, great staff, the check out guy was super welcoming when he heard we'd just arrived in town.
Good luck with finding your stull if you are not fast enough. Small shop, limited quantities.
Great Except some of the staff are not nice
Smaller array of products available compared to nearby shops. Different brands generally here, some good, others not so good but the products stocked are not consistent.
shelves a little low especially meat on friday evenings, otherwise great :)
ALDI Wallsend, the staff make it, a great place to shop. Go ALDI.
Best aldi love shopping there friendly staff got everything I need
Good range, good prices.
Awesome service and very reasonable price and honest staff ...
Friendly service and great value.
Easy shopping.
Parking is always great.
My favourite supermarket. Guaranteed cheapest prices while have a pretty complete range of items. And who needs 5 different brands of butter, milk etc when 1 will do just fine??
Friendly staff
You can only love Aldi, well stocked and great neighbourhood shopping
Good shoping .good specials great grocies. Good fruit and vegs. Good service help full nice shopping
Slowly convincing me that I should shop at Aldi more often.
Quick and easy parking. Modern Aldi store.
Is one of the best Aldi's I've been to. Never too busy and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Got everything family need for good prices
Friendly staff. Clean and nicely presented.
Always friendly staff at Kurri Aldi
Good parking and plenty to choose from large store
Always a pleasant experience. All staff very friendly
The staff at aldi kurri kurri a wonderful
Clean, sensible layout, great prices and friendly staff
Clean and tidy, easy to get to
Staff are always helpful and friendly here. Decent sized Aldi store
Good shop to go to. Food always fresh and people very helpfull
Good store, service good, always get what i shop for although you have go to other shops to get pacific items this is the same with wollies and cols
Nice customer service large variety good prices clean too
Aldi has such low prices and no difference in quality
Customer service is Pathetic, people que and only 1 register open. Typical Aldi stores
Really great Aldi store with a nice alcohol section. Spacious, clean and fresh produce.
Can't really say anything bad about it. The veggies and fruit are a little hit and miss but on the whole they are good.
This was great news when it opened around 3-4 years ago, now it's a basic Aldi, probably a little bit nicer than the average. It's not a big Aldi so it's quite difficult to get some of the specials as the fly away really fast
Nicely decorated, spacious and with a decent range of the most common and basic foodstuffs. Trolleys require a $1 or $2 coin to release, refundable on return.
It would get 5 stars if they kept those amazing pretzels in stock all the time. They are bloody brilliant. Make sure you grab them from the freezer if you do go in. They're legit out of Munich. German/10.
Love love love this store can always get whatever I need and its not a .... fight to get the specials.
Fantastic store especially when the specials are on as locals don't get out of bed till 10am. No crowd frenzy like other stores.
Pushed thtu checkout too quickly..peoplr before me hadn't left..difficult to reach my groceries to put in my bag
I bought a lump of pork from here and made the best roast pork I have ever made in my life. And I ate it all in inch thick slabs.
Great produce and friendly staff. Good place to withdraw money as the ATM has been removed from the building. Avoid on Weds and Sat am as dump stock os released.
New layout getting closer to Coles and Woolies. Range still limited but smashingly cheap prices all the same.
Best new and well stocked shop with not too many people and plenty of parking. Love it!
Ali's great prices on a new format store that outs more focus on fruit and veg and meat than older Aldi stores. Had a liquor section.
They did a recent renovation and the upgrades make it one of the nicest Aldi's I've been to
Good bargain of products but too little customer service provider
Location and parking is good. But in terms of product variety in this particular store, was disappointed a bit.
Very very nice . Recommend it for buy qulity thing in less
ALDI Lakemna is good place to shop 🏪 not very specific nice 💕 so good for parking 🅿 your Car 🚗 I love it so Much
Yeah, Aldi @ Lakemba is my favourite.
Staff like Amy make it pleasant.
And it convenient and not 2 busy.
God bless you,
Jesus loves you,
Very affordable prices on all their products. Friendly staff and good customer service.
Very nice location. Available underground car park and disable access area. Quality goods with cheap costs. New catalogue every months. I like so much Aldi.
Convenient shopping, underground parking
Just a normal ALDI store
Great buys
I purchased items on the Thursday the 18 of August around 7 in the evening. My cashier named Amy was as rude as hell! Doesn't greet the customer. Looks so bothered by the customers existence and showed no emotion whatsoever when someone smiled at her. Something that burnt me was the fact she slammed my change on the counter and went on with the next customer. Like honestly this loser needs to grow up. Hire people who respect another human like they'll like to be respected. All the other staff are fabulous but she's the hot head that needs to be taught a lesson.
The best thing since sliced bread. It's like a gourmet deli.
If you want the advertised specials you have to be there on the day.
Because they run out quick at this store.
I had to go to another ALDI for what was in catalogue...
But if it's not popular wait and see the price drop in half at other stores.
Really impressed with this Aldi chain. Very modern looking store with an attractive, snazzy design. A downside is that it can get too crowded at times, and also, I would have preferred if they moved it to an exterior location rather inside a bustling shopping mall, which already has Coles.
Love the new interior design of Aldi, very chic! Same awesome products, fresh new look.
A very refreshing and beautiful ALDI in the heart of Fairfield. Quicker checkouts and a fine range of discounted variety items.
No need to describe Aldi. But been at Fairfield Fourm which is Great location, Easy to do the lot considering Fruit land, Coles and bakery..! Except 1 problem it's Parking 🖓
In a handy location and well set out
Nice ALDI
Mostly, cashier often opens only 1 slot. Takes longer time.
Overall, Love this place to shop some cheap products with good Quality.
Good. But, there are better and cheaper supermarkets in Sydney. Probably, this place offers you the cheapest wine in terms of price.
The best place to shop best prices in town quality products rate The Best. Thank you Aldi
Somewhat small Aldi store but generally well stocked and has the same low Aldi prices
Quite well shop for quick grabbing some food. Quality of products are not the best like in Woolworths but still quite well. The cheapest nuts rate compering with other shops. Actually all prices are low comparing with Woolworths or Coles. Friendly and fast staff. No long queues.
You will find most of the times items available and on special here where other places around may have run out
No table salt in the shelf. Staff not very helpful. Spent 15 + minutes looking for salt just to be pointed to the empty shelf when asked. Maybe because I spent all the time looking for the salt the lovely lady at the counter decided to ask for my bag to be checked. Worst visit yet. Wasted massive time and was made to feel like a thief in the end.
Good place to find marked down items. Nice to check out from time to time.
Good Aldi for a quick shopping trip, beware there is only Street parking and it can quite hard to get a spot.
Fairly clean, regular old-fashioned ALDI with sustainable prices and easy-to-deal-with staff. Very useful location, parking is a bit restrained however.
Good place to save money
A great little Aldi in a convenient location. Stocks mostly everything you need. Prices are always good in Aldi. Enjoy their specials. Store can be a little hectic at times.
I love this little Aldi .. .don't let its size fool you. It usually has most things in stock. The staff are friendly and helpful. Especially Nat and Ashleigh.
Usually before 10am and after 4pm would be last busy! Always packed with shoppers bet'w 10am to 2pm! The young man staff: Sam, he's very helpful! He's more friendly than the other manager there (not sure Sam is a supervisor or mamager since he can do the refund with other management approval). Another lady manager could be communication with their staffs with a better tone, I guess!
Best grocery shop
Selling food with mould. Yuck! Never going back...
Not too busy which is good. Though there is another aldi outside west field about a block away which is better.
You can get some great bargains. Good to compare prices with Woolworths and Coles which are situated on the same site.
Great price. Never crowded. You can find the discount items here even when other sites have run out
Good shop and parking but you can get a long wait at the checkout. Wheelchair accessible. No toilets.
It's quite big and tidy! And staffs are actually very switched on in this branch. Only improvement is it could be a little brighter as it seemed a little dark inside.
We like to shop there as the prices are competitive and they sell some great hardware.
Brand new renovations, much easier store to shop at. Excellent staff!
Looks spacious after the recent renovations. Well laid out aisles makes it easier to navigate. All these at the same great value for money groceries and those special items.
Shop has been recently renovated and looks nice. Wide variety of products. Nice staff. Parking is ok.
Always has a wide variety. Big store and spacious. Laid out well.
Plenty of car parking, nice clean recently built store.
Its an aldi
Nice new store. Friendly & helpful staff
Contemporary supermarket with razor quick service, staff opened up a lane immediately after seeing the lines increasing in length. Good amount of parking and products.
Good service. Clean and tidy
Cheap groceries of course but layout could be better inside. No handbaskets!
Love the shaded parking. Good prices but not a huge range
Great place to shop. Cheap shopping generally good quality merchandise.
Great place for stocking up on essentials for people living remote and rural. I would make the 4 hour trip at least every 2 months.
From the almost always three quarters full carpark to the pay for the shopping trolley to the pack your own groceries, Aldi gives you what you pay for - no nonsense shopping. Their prices are cheap. However, if you care about where your products come from and you don't like money going off shore then you may want to pay more at another supermarket.
Cheapest grocery store. A lot of parking spots around. The queue can be long during busy hours and they have no bag for you
Cheap and good quality but not in Central Wollongong like its rival Coles
Good place for shopping parking not a problem
Nice quiet shopping atmilosphere on Sat. at 2.30 p.m.... weather was great
I'm an international resident living here and 30 years old and they wouldn't sell me a bottle of wine because my ID is not Australian. Ridiculous.
Love Aldi allows me to purchas more due to great prices.
Like Aldi for a good selection of reasonably priced fresh food.
Had a huge expansion recently and now it's awesome. Looks like a normal supermarket with a good produce section but still great ALDI prices.
Aldi's Preston warehouse
Easy access, friendly staff, self unload. Toilet available, no tea or coffee
Was served by Lilly yesterday at Preston"s Aldi-what an asset to your company she is-made my day-excellent customer service :)
good place to work only downfall everyone gets there 20 min b4 start of work.. if you are a casual you gota get there 20min b4 your starting time coz all the fulltime workers like to get there 20min early so if u get there after all the perm workers gone in which is 10min b4 work starts u b locked outa d warehouse n cant access d security doors coz only perm workers are given plastic security cards for companys warehouse security doors!!!
