Following the presentation of my graduate collection during Mercedes Australia Fashion Week in 2004, I established my eponymous womenswear label in Sydney with a focus on producing small collections using luxury fabrics and referencing the pattern cutting techniques of historical garments. My collections were made-to-order for clients in Sydney and bought as ready-to-wear by the beautiful Figure 8 boutique on Flinders Lane in Melbourne. Later moving with my young family to Cambodia, Laos and then Thailand, I adapted my design practice and business model and began collaborating with local artisans to produce beautiful womenswear and children's clothing while working to empower women in rural communities. My work has appeared in The Sydney Morning Herald, The Weekend Australian, The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph, Russh magazine, and Vogue Japan.
