Alfred Hotel

Stayed at the rydges hotel whilst family mber underwent cancer treatment at rpa, ate and drank at the hotel daily lunch and dinner only to be told on a Friday night whilst standing at the bar that we could no longer be served a drink as the uni students had priority. Found this highly insulting as the money myself and my friends spent while we have been here and would have spent having a few drinks would have by far out spent any uni student on said Friday night for starters, wasn't a bad venue but after speaking to others out the front of pub as they were refused service once uni crowd got it well I just don't think its on. I will be back for family members ongoing treatment but will reccomend to all I know not to bother wasting money as they will be casted aside as we were, shame on you

Great pub, great staff and great food! Nice little beer garden out the back for a Sunday arvo.

NEVER RESERVE WITH THEM!!! We booked a corporate stay but due to emergency could not come on booked dates. Common situation, and most Hotels try to be accommodating. We asked them to change the dates for our stay, but they refused. Ana (reception with no last name) was rude and insensitive, no customer service, we lost hundreds of dollars, NEVER staying with them again. My advise: think twice before reserving Alfred Hotel!!!!

Delicious food. Lots of vegetarian choices too. Why bother cooking at home? It's better value to eat here!

Great place for evening drinks. Very lively atmosphere.

I have a lot of good memories from The Alfred Hotel. I had one of my best ever nights there.

The tender meat of the chicken burger as the divorce settlement hits me, reminds me of the Vietnamese war, but in a positive way. The Tuesday night trivia sessions are great fun but especially when you consider I had a good night in the midst of a divorce, she slept with my brother but he turned out to be gay so jokes on her. But it's fine I'm over her anyway. Alfred's provided an enjoyable view of young people, senile older men and the occasional cripple being dragged out. All in all, considering the dire situation of my ex wife, my brother and his husband, I think it did me well.

Thank you Alfred's, thank you erectile dysfunction and thank you $13 dollar jugs.
