Agent always on holiday and never informs anyone, your emails to him just drop into an abyss. The old guy who looks after our place on behalf of A&C is rude, arrogant and does not keep a balanced opinion or approach to all the members of the OC at our property. One EC member has a number of properties in Administration with them and clearly he falls favour with her and less with the newer owners. Strange goings on.

I'm very tired of these guys, their notices are late, they don't seem to have a handle on emails and timely meeting notes, and when you call them their office staff are rude and don't follow up.

And checkout the 5star review at the bottom from Ryan, he works for them (check their website).

I wonder if the owner does performance evaluation on his team, he certainly never sends surveys to his paying customers asking us to rate their agent or the company's performance....now there's a thought???

My experience with Alldis and Cox is nothing short of horrific, I really don't know where to start. Unfortunately this was a problem i inherited when I bough my unit I really don't know how these guys have stayed in business for as long as they have, I can only assume they have a legacy of clients that use them for strata services that find it too complex a situation to get out of. Everything from the manner of the receptionist that picks up the phone right through to the service from the property manager, that never calls back and is never available to address problems.

Some of the issues have been:

1: Non response to calls and dealing with serious issues.
2: Questionable charges with little due diligence in the engagement of contractors - if you cant get away from A&C at the very least I recommend having a sign off system in place for ALL CHARGES other wise they will go ahead and engage contractors without due diligence as to the work required and also not assessing the market for the best deal
3: Never available
4: Promises to resolve issues that never get resolved
5: Rude receptionist
6: Directing serious issues to less able owners and acting on their instruction resulting in invalidated work to take place that the committee has to pay for but not authorised
7: Higher cost than most other providers
8: Not acting on instruction of the committee, they are happy to 'get quotes' and engage contractors but never deal with anything other than that

This list could go on and on.............

The only thing you can be sure of is A&C will send you a bill every 3 months, how they justify their charges is beyond me but what concerns me more is that they will have been getting away with this for years and will have less able customers that just are not able to work through the complexity of switching strata managers.

Do yourself a favour and stay away from this company.

Alldis and cox have managed my strata building in clovelly for a number of years and i have found them to be excellent, we left a different management business years ago due to incompetence and Alldis and cox knew they had to deliver and they have done exceptionally well,
great job keep it up.

Sadly, I have seen nothing but incompetence from these people. They are very rude, have a ridiculous sense of superiority, and mess up whatever they touch. Notes and notices are not distributed in a timely manner or at all, meetings are random, voting and attendance isn't counted correctly, and emergency work orders are not executed and distributed.

There often appears really fishy stuff to be going on between committees and Alldis & Cox, and their lack of interest in their job is pathetic. I feel downright bullied at meetings and in emails, and these clowns behave like they have no clue how to handle their jobs or their paying clients.

An inefficient and ineffective strata management company. They do not reply to emails, they do not follow up. You are paying them to pay your strata bills, any mug can do that for less. What a disappointment.

As per the others if I could give zero stars I would. Again similar experience, they treat anyone outside of the committee as not important. They are actually rude to anyone else. I would strongly steer clear from they muppets

If I could give this company a 0 I would. its all about the black and white compliance and ticking boxes from behind their - where's the service, where's the human empathy. 0 Absolutely appalled at the response i received from one such manager she was completely underwhelming in her dealings and its clear she has been "advised" to not care too much about the actual situation and people involved but just do the bear minimum.

Agent assigned to us from Alldis & Cox is slow at actioning items from meetings, and somewhat condescending to the younger folks who own units in the building. Kind of "I know better than you as it's my business". But the agent doesn't seem to realize its our home and we pay his company for the privilege of being somewhat rude to us. Also when the agent goes on holiday the emails go unanswered.

I have no idea how these guys stay open. They asked the strata members in my block to subscribe to email to apparently "make things faster" and now they just don't answer emails. Our agent seems a little past it (not keeping up with the times...or the needs of the day) never responds to email promptly for repairs or trivial issues, needs chasing consistently. I'd pretty much say they are just "old school" as a company, lack the detail expected and I'm surprised they continue to operate. Alldis & Cox are relics.

"Pleasant but incompetent" is perhaps the nicest way to say it. Not serious about providing the services paid for: our strata manager just went on leave for 3 months, no out of office and no action for the whole quarter we paid for...

Also, watch out for the woefully slow / inaccurate about requested work orders. We requested a gate and lock installed on an existing fence, this letter of this task was 'completed' by AC but people could reach the latch over the fence. The lack of attention to detail (doing their job) is typical of the zero care factor ... it's unfortunate that we can't provide a lower rating than 1 star.

Our experience was that A&C were pleasant but really not very competent. I honestly can't quite fathom how they stay in business.
