I asked for a quote 21 days ago to move from Sydney to Canada and they can’t seem to get themselves together to even get me a quote. That should be the easiest part of the move! I’ve called, emailed, and they have not responded in a timely manner. They claim to be customer centric. What a joke. I’ve submitted an inventory list and it should be instant. What are they doing over there?!
Update just got my quote 21 days after my request after having 3 people call them and inquire about my move. And many many emails. This branch needs to have better leadership. The team is falling apart!
They left a huge mess at my storage facility when they packed up my items. I told them to go back to the storage place and clean it up. They said they would. They never did. The storage facility then billed me $140 to clean up the mess Allied left. Communication with Allied is very difficult not one person has ever called me about my move or shown concern. The only time they were interested in reaching me was when it was time for me to pay for the move. My items were packed up on March 9th and are still sitting in the Sydney harbor. I have to email them for updates. Don’t go with this company as the communication is horrendous.

Allied assisted with my relocation from QLD to BNE last year including pet and vehicle. The vehicle transport- there was no visual inspection upon handing over the car to Allied. The guys just grabbed and key and loaded the vehicle to the truck. The packing specialist came and repacked all the boxes and didn't use the labels and marks properly. My books and linens were marked as kitchen items. My fridge was dented and I was unsatisfied with the removal services. The destination unloading and assembly person wont put a timer bed together as it was bought as a new item. The driver walked around on the carpet with dirty and dusty shoes and turned up very unprofessionally. He was in a hurry to get back to Gold Coast because he hasn't slept for 3 days he said. Big safety concerns. In the end, I had to hire someone else to assemble the bed and re-assemble the sofa as it was poorly done. I would avoid using Allied if possible.

Great experience with my move from Wollongong to Sydney. Just move no packing assistance. The team did great work (Junior and team), reconnected appliances without me asking. Took great care of everything. No bumps scrapes or drops I can see. Highly recommend.

Pick up was great, although shame on a business which is using young girls to collect 20+ kg boxes. The transportation was the slowest ever: we were promised max 3 months and were waiting for almost 5 months with constant phone calls to check on where our goods are. No communication from the business itself unless you ask them. At the end we recieved our goods in good condition, but the wait was ensless. Don't deal with Ben from Brisbane office, he doesn't know what communication means.
