Lovely salon with great atmosphere. The head massage was a bit lacklustre though! Happy with my new 'do.

Five star service and styling. The salon is lovely with so many touches to put you at your ease. All of the stylists are very attentive and friendly, whether greeting regulars by name or making new customers and walk-ins just as welcome. My stylist, Bree, was a star - she coloured and styled my hair beautifully. Although one of the younger members of the Allure team, she is highly competent, has great people skills and shows terrific flair.

They put colour put on my hair and I was left with the colour on my hair for two hours. I'm a shy person so it was hard for me to say "hey I really think you should wash this off now" as I already have thin hair, so I was starting to worry that leaving colour on for so long would be damaging...I wish I had spoken up and told them to wash it off earlier, because my hair is still recovering. The colour was left on for too long.. they kept cutting other peoples hair, about five different people, some of them walk ins, ignoring me....before finally getting back to me to wash it off. Once it was washed off my hair turned a dark shade of brown when we had discussed a light shade of red. Again.. too shy to say "this is not on". When I got home my hair was not only the wrong colour but was in such bad condition it started snapping off at the ends and continued to snap off even with protein treatments... I am getting married and I now have to get $800 worth of extensions because my hair has still not recovered and took months to become healthy again, it still has these random short clumps from where it snapped off when I got home. I never normally write reviews like this, and I am not resentful or anything and everyone makes mistakes, hairdressers work very hard, I believe this was a one off mistake, so I'm not saying nobody should go there.... I have actually been a hairdresser before...but I am simply writing this n the hope that the staff pay more attention to the time they leave a colour on for even if the client is new. If hair is fine, colour shouldn't be left on for hours on end. It really felt like they just didn't care.. or had forgotten about me. Thank you...

Great value for money. I paid $100 for a concave blonde bob. The colour match was perfect. I highly recommend this place. I have not been so happy with a cut & colour for a while. I underestimated the expertise of my young stylist...she certainly knew hair, made great recommendations for my skin tone & shape of my face as well as my daily needs. Cannot speak highly enough :)
