Chris has been servicing and repairing Steelbro trailers since 1989 from a small van Ford Escort in 1990. Chris then opened his first workshop which was a one bay in a service station at Hurlstone Park NSW. Chris was the only person in Sydney servicing and repairing Sidelifters including forklifts and trucks at the time.
In 1991 he expanded to a bigger work shop in Greenacre NSW with a larger team. In 1992 Chris was appointed as Steelbro Service Agent from Container Transfer Equipment (Steelbro Agent).
By 2006 Chris needed a much larger work shop so he moved to a open space factory in Bankstown NSW where he currently works from with his son in a well established family business. The boys take pride in their work and are extremely passionate about what they do.
Alpha Group control a very high percentage of the Side lifter industry which include the Hammar and Swinglift.
In 2011 Alpha Group Australia (NSW) was once again appointed as Swinglift NSW service Agent.
