Alpine Resort Motel

Rooms were clean and the location is great as it is at the last round about that will take you out of town and onto Thredbo and Perisher. Close to shopping centre and town centre and ski rentals.

Just looking at previous Reviews, and after staying here for a few nights which we thought was awesome , maybe a little bit noisy and things a little seconds hand, but I can't believe the critiques that people / Experts come out with.

Please remember you get what you pay for, and be happy with that.

Very easy to find upon arrival and the all the rooms are well set out with very spacious living and good facilities

DO NOT STAY HERE - My son and I left a day early because he was homesick, we checked out prior to 10am as per instruction on leaving so they could re-rent the room for double the price. The owner 'Martin refused to re-fund any fees telling me he inherited a $15k debt from the previous owner... Hard to see how that's my problem... What happened to customer service?
All the amenities (pool cues, ping pong paddles etc) are broken. Staff were nice enough but live on site so it's a little strange seeing them 'living' in the common room.
Rooms are really old and outdated. Bed was very uncomfortable. Shower was temperamental at best, especially when you looking for a hot one at the end of the day at the snow.

The owner ordered me to pay about 3 months out in case the snow season was poor and that I would cancel (I wish I had) I ordered the King Size room and when my son and I arrived we were upgraded to a 'queen size' room??? The room was noisy and echoed all along the hallway and everytime someone opened the common room.

The Motel had a great room. Clean and tidy. Was happy with the experience.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Tidy and clean facilities. Great location close to the lake, shops and restaurants and with a great view.

So we obtained our key to open the room of our room to be greeted with a horrible smell and immediate presence of small bugs which seemed to be fruit flies or something similar. As I went to take a shower there was a beetle on the floor of the shower with 6 worms around the bathroom entry door frame.

As I went up to hand in our key I informed the lady that there were worms coming out of the door frame and her response was "Oh, the millipedes? Let me help you with that". Absolutely disgusting! To know about such a problem and not having dealt with it before letting people occupy the room is beyond me. This place deserves to be shut down! I immediately stoped her and informed her we would not be staying the night as I handed her the key.

AND THEY STILL CHARGED MY CARD! Does anyone know of a body which has the power to shut down unworthy accomodation? Please report this one immediately!

Good hotel to stay at. Friendly staff. No drying room for snow gear in rooms unfortunately

Buffet breakfast included every morning excellent. Great view of lake jindabyne and only 30min to thredbo or perisher excellent place to stay very convenient.
