Sorry people no news on the tangled whale we encountered this morning. I will check with ORRCA again tomorrow.

We found this poor Humpback tangled in ropes and buoys just a couple of mile off Forster/Tuncurry this morning. He/she was swimming along ok but is definately going to need some help in order to survive. We contacted both NPWS and ORRCA giving the whales exact position, speed and heading. Hopefully they catch up and assist this unfortunate whale soon.

The most perfect conditions for our whale watch today. We were even lucky enough to come across a beautiful Southern Right Whale!

We got lucky with some incredible whale action (it even surprised the crew and wildlife photographer on board), which made it all the more enjoyable. I would absolutely do it again and I’d highly recommend it for any age group.
