My partner and I traveled the sapphire coast for 8 days and chose Tumut to spend our last 2 days of our trip in the Amaroo Motel. I chose this motel from the internet for its new rooms and breakfast. On arrival I was greeted by a confident reception, given my key and on opening the door to our room, we were very happy with the choice. Breakfast is served between 8 to 8.30am which gives a push push feeling and the motel lacks to accommodate the guest in that respect, however it does get the guest out and about early to enjoy what Tumut and the surrounding country side has to offer.
Will travel to Tumut again and will stay here again.

Excellent facilities and friendly owner. Really modern facilities as it has been recently refurbished. Comfy beds and air-conditioning. Free buffet breakfast was quite nice. Happy to recommend this establishment.

Have stayed here twice now and can highly recommend it. The rooms are very clean, with good amenities. The staff are very friendly, and at the moment they are doing buffet breakfast, which is also great. Very short walk to the main street and pubs.

The service was great, the room was reasonably priced and included a good buffet breakfast. The room looked like it had just been renovated and was very, very nice. Better still, they had some rooms with covered carparks which seems to be a very unusual occurrence in the world of motels. It was a short walk to town and we were very happy with it. However, the owner recommended the Thai restaurant in the bistro at one of the hotels for dinner. I'm not sure why she would recommend this particular restaurant as it was the worst food I have ever eaten. Not just the worst Asian, the worst ever! So stay there absolutely it was wonderful. But for heavens sake, eat anywhere else.

Quality bedding now provided after rooms were remodeled. Reasonably priced but don't be taken in by the misleading 'Free Hot Breakfast' sign out the front. Stayed there about 6 times over the years.
