Amelia Jane - Personal Trainer Description
Hello, and welcome to my world of Personal Training : -)
What does fitness mean to you? Losing weight, toning up, , feeling strong, chasing your kids, looking amazing on your special day be it a wedding or birthday, not getting puffed walking the stairs, being and feeling younger than your chronological age, lowering your blood pressure, preventing disease, improving your self esteem, running 10km (or a marathon), preparing for an event or challenge???
It means all those things to me, and so much more. And I'd like to share it with you : -)
My journey in physicality started early as I learned classical dancing right through my school years. I believe that the discipline and technique acquired from such training has lead me to where I am today. I dabbled on and off in gym work through my 20's and then got serious again after I had my children. I'm also a coeliac which puts me in a higher risk category for degenerative diseases, so weight bearing exercise is essential for me.
I'm now privileged enough to share my love of health and fitness professionally.
I believe in balance - strength, stamina and suppleness - all coupled with a healthy diet. Everything in moderation. I promote a healthy fit lifestyle for life, rather than a fad diet or exercise program that promises fast results but can't be maintained. I also believe that gyms should not be places of intimidation! !
I'll be posting fitness motivation and inspiration, and sharing interesting articles and information as I find it on my journey. What can be achieved is only as limited as your imagination.
