AMS Nursing Agency provides a 'Last Minute Service' of professional nursing staff to the leading private hospitals in the Sydney metro area. The Agency works closely with each of our Nurses and Hospitals to provide placements matching individual Nurse preferences to Hospital requests. As such, the Agency has two customers - our Nurses and our Hospitals and the Agency has built a very strong service culture in engaging with each of these two groups. The Agency provides Nurses (Registered Nurses, Midwives and AIN's) in areas such as Maternity, Intensive Care, Mental Health, Medical and Surgical. We are also the principal provider of AIN's to The Children's Hospital at Westmead. The Agency is open from 5. 30am to 10. 30pm, seven days a week. The Agency also operates a Private Nursing practice for home care using our experienced team of nurses.

Our goal is support the hospitals to achieve their goal of providing quality patient care in an efficient manner. We do this by providing nursing staff with high professional standards who will work effectively and efficiently with the hospital team they have been assigned to.

We like to work closely with our agency Nurses and get to understand their nursing strengths, preferred Hospitals and shift times.
We require up to date information on your availability for work so that we only contact those people who want to work in a given period and not disturb our staff who have said that they are not available to work. This information allows us to quickly respond to Hospitals shift requests and get in ahead of the competition.

We have shifts to fill for both temporary and permanent places in Sydney hospitals for Registered Nurses for hospital ward work, Specialist Nurses in ICU and High Dependency, Midwifery and Neonatal ICU. We also have work shifts for AIN’s.

REGISTERED NURSES:
In order to work as a registered nurse for AMS Nursing Agency you will need to meet the following requirements:
2 years full-time (or equivalent experience)
At least one year of experience in your chosen specialty
Have undertaken a year new-graduate program at a hospital
Show a 100 point identification check
Non residents must bring in their original identifying documents and copies of passports and Visa documents.
Have a current vaccination record
Completed a Criminal Record and Working With Children check

ASSISTANT NURSES
In order to work as an Assistant in Nursing for AMS Nursing Agency you need to meet the following requirements:
2 years full time (or equivalent experience) or be a qualified nurse in another country
Hospital experience
Able to take observations
Show a 100 point identification check
Non residents must bring in their original identifying documents and copies of passports and Visa documents
Have a current vaccination record
Completed a Criminal Record and Working With Children check
