Anaconda

Have bought plenty of gear over the years from them during sales. Went so far as to spend over $2000 on a bike. The bike had issues for which I returned it for warranty, at which point they are currently not processing and are telling me my bike has no faults which anyone with even the slightest knowledge/experience in cycling and the products they sell for that matter would detect the faults. I envision some lengthy phone calls are about to take place and depending on the result I may change this review. At this point in time I won't ever be shopping with them again and will be handing in/cancelling my club membership etc.

Visited store on both Saturday and Sunday and found the staff always helpful and friendly. Never too much trouble

Probably the biggest Anaconda store in NSW. Huge range, good prices and staff. Be sure to go at the end of each season though to get the best deals.

I needed advice regarding a well-fitting, lightweight backpack to walk 800km along the Camino Way later this year. Staff were so helpful, regarding options, as they were when they fitted me with hiking shoes a few weeks ago. :)

Cycling equipment and accessories are pretty good. Best to wait for sales for best value for money.

Overall ok but tent area often needs more focus.

After sorting through and selecting the items I was interested in for over half an hour, despite being surrounded by staff, at no time was I approached by staff to offer assistance. I outlined my concern to the woman on the sales counter on the way out. She said "I'm sorry" At that time I was approached by some idiot sales rep who was there setting up a sunglasss display who laughed and made a joke of it. The irony of the situation is that there was a sign up saying that they were hiring and looking for staff. They don't need more staff, they just need staff that give a toss!
Three days later I returned to the Penrith store to return a faulty item.
This is usually a good test of customer service. After a quick inspection of the item, I was asked if I would like a refund or replacement. The staff on this occasion were polite, helpful and good humoured. I'm upping my star rating from a 1 to a 4. Good work guys.

Lots of items at good prices. Not allot of staff around but the staff are knowledgeable.

To anyone who shops here,
as soon as you walk in you get greeted with a smile and great help with clothing and shoes i cant remember the ladies name but she was great. if i could go here everyday i would.
