I've read the reviews on the bad staff and sales and I can't agree. I have been in the shop 4-5 times over a few years and they have always been fine in my opinion. This review is mainly for the fluid bike I bought 2 years ago.

It says on the bike not for offroad - which I ignored. Knowing that the bike wasn't designed for it, I took it out on the trails and it handled everything I threw at it, and apart from the popped innertube it's ready to go again. Value for money I'd say. Built in store and they give you a 6-week tune up for free when you buy.

Not great service, lots of products at reasonable prices though

Not particularly good service here. Staff tend to avoid eye contact and run away.

*Poor Post-Sale Service*
I'm not one to complain but I feel it's worth sharing this experience with other potential customers.

I am (was) a semi-frequent shopper at Anaconda, one of my purchases included a reasonable quality bike in mid-2014.

The bike is sparingly used but kept in a good condition. I recently went to go for a ride but upon setting out the rear derailer of the bike snapped off.

Upon calling the store, I was encouraged to bring the bike in for inspection and determination as to whether it was a "warranty job".

The Bike Store Attendant inspected the bike noting that it was in good condition and the derailer showed no signs of impact (as the cause of the snappage and therefore justifiably my responsibility).

The Attendant thoroughly inspected the chain and deemed it to be in "excellent" condition. He stated he needed to talk to his Manager and would give me a call in the next few hours.

A few days later he called to advise that it wasn't a "warranty job", stating that the chain was in a poor / stretched condition which would have led to the snapped derailer.

Not wanting to point out that this completely contradicted his initial assessment I politely declined his quotation to fix the bike and went and picked the bike up from the store.

It would seem as though Anaconda are happy to make a sale and charge me to repair a faulty product but do not wish to take any responsibility for faults.

The 'cost price' to Anaconda to correct the fault would have been no more than $50, instead they chose to lose a loyal customer.
