Embraced Memorial keepsakes started because of a belief I have that everyone should be able to grieve in their own special and unique way. In 1997 I lost my beautiful daughter Candice to Leukemia. Today I still have a bottle of Gatorade in the fridge that was one of her last drinks. I know this may seem strange to some, but to those that are grieving we should not make judgements on what helps them heal. I honour my need to something tangible that is a memory of her. I have creating a line of keepsakes and jewellery that is very personal. You can reveal it to others or just keep it as something that you know is close or in your home.
These keepsakes are also a wonderful way to share some of the memorial ash with family members before you have a scattering of ashes ceremony.
I have also created a small silver tube with ash which was added to a bride's bouquet as she desperately wanted her father to walk with her down the aisle.
Children who have had parents pass away when they are very small can also benifit fron these keepsakes
