Best to make an appointment online as apple are always busy. Staff are awesome and extremely helpful.

I love the idea of the Apple stores and had good experiences all over the world, but the one in Castle Hill is the exception. Getting the attention of one of their staff is impossible, but if you actually get one, they are a pain to deal with.

I usually go to the city now, but today made the mistake to come here again to buy the new apple TV. Took us 25min to finally get the attention of one of their sales people just to be told that they are out.
It's ok to be out of a product, but I don't want to wait 25min to find that out.

Pathetic customer service. Tried to get my new macbook pros battery / critical error issue resolved. Staff had no idea. The so called apple genius at this store are chemically castrated. Making me wait so long. Id give this store a negative review mark if i could

very friendly professional service. Fixed my macbook retina screen while I waited. As a visitor to Sydney with only a couple of days in town I am very grateful.

Apple's best innovation to date is not their phones or products but their superlative customer service in their stores. I experienced no less than this at their Castle Hill store when I brought my iphone 7 in for repair. Had screen replaced for free in 2 hours and staff were extremely helpful.

Attended store and informed by Ben manager ( a really rude and unprofessional encounter ) to wait about 2 hours to purchase a tray for a SIM card. I was Informed I needed to see a technician.
I did not need a technician. I only needed to purchase a very expensive $10 tray for a SIM card. Lol. despite my protests i was required to wait and wait and wait for the replacement part.
eventually when my long wait ended i was attended to by a very polite and efficient " technician " who replaced it in under 5 seconds and then quoted a new price of $11.
another round of disgusting behaviour by Ben manager quoting " i guessed the price " after interning yet again.
during this debacle manager Ben also stated " we always get great reviews " after i had started typing the Google review.
A later look at the Google reviews also confirmed Ben to be a liar. From 147 reviews it appears to be 70% 1 star rating.
Ben is not fit to be an Apple client let alone an employee and apparently the manager of a very large Apple store. What a disgraceful series of events this visit was.
note that if u a buying and expensive apple product u will be served fast and relieved of your cash fast. if buyin a cheap $10 tray u wait 2 hours for a genius Bar technician.

Made to wait 40 minutes despite having a reservation because the check in employee sent me to the wrong waiting section. Was seen by employee to be told my battery was working fine despite it having dropped 27% in less than an hour since leaving the Apple Store.

I went in early in the morning to get in the queue for the Genius Bar - when I received a text saying my appointment was ready I spoke with one of the staff who told me that "someone will be right with me" whereupon I waited for another 30 minutes standing there looking at the staff for anyone at all to approach me before being notified by SMS that I missed my appointment and was bumped out of the queue. Great.

Frustrated and now running late for work I complained to one of the staff who not only didn't listen to my concerns but instantly became rude and defensive and the thing he offered was to put me at the start. The real cherry on the top was when he told me "I don't even know who you are!" when HE WAS THE GUY WHO BOOKED MY APPOINTMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Fast sales service when you want to buy a product (in and out in 5 minutes). If you come back with an issue down the track you have to wait over an hour to have the issue dealt with by a "Genius"... even when you've made an appointment. There are also other customers here who have been waiting longer I have. This is not cool!

Edit: My issue was fixed promptly once I was served. It's a shame about the wait time.

I have added another two stars to this review for my issue being resolved.
