Apple Hornsby

This is not a review about the customer service but about their Apple Watch product.

Two watches were purchased, one in 2015 and the other in 2016. Coincidently, both watches failed redeemed unusable. The battery went dead and could not be recharged. During my investigation I discovered that the lithium batteries found in their watches become dead if not continually charged. Apple does not inform consumers regarding this flaw.
So the watch purchased in 2015 had expired its two year consumer guarantee so to fix it it would cost $290. No way was I going to fork out more money just to have it fail again. Paid $500 for this watch and within 2 years was headed for the bin. COMPLETE GARBAGE. A $6 rechargeable night light purchased from ALDI uses a more sophisticated battery technology than Apple Watch. Twice it’s completely drained for months and was able to recharge. Just saying.

I have been a loyal customer with Apple for years. I’ve purchased all their iPhones, computers, Apple TV etc etc and this is how I’m repaid. Never again Will I buy apple products again.

What is the point booking on line? They still make me waiting for 10mins. The lady forced me to sit on the uncomfortable high chair , I can see why?

Great service especially by Aaron from the Hornsby apple store who was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable and was able to quickly identify the issues and run tests on my malfunctioning laptop and fix it without too much of a long wait. Much better service in Hornsby store than any other store. Staff are quite friendly and helpful.

I bought apple watch at Hornsby store and served by Ian, who is excellent on customer service with friendly service, no wonder why this shop has good rating by far compared to other apple stores, where, I believe, they need to improve their service, hoping any body in head office hear this voice. Ian would be excellent trainer for store staff for other stores.

I visited Apple at Hornsby again today for my 3rd time in 2 years and just wanted to say how impressed i was with their Genius bar service. We were served by Aaron F and he went above and beyond to make sure that we left that store as happy apple customers.....and we did! I will continue to recommend your store and the products, as well as the highly educated "Genius bar" geniuses!

Always very happy with the support from this store. Staff always informative and willing to help resolve issues. Sometimes it can be a wait (even with a booking) to see the Genius Bar. But have nothing but praise for their support. (PS not a fan boy review, I use Android phones)
