Absolutely fuming at Apple for the past week. Faulty screen issue that I was told I could have a new phone for if I hand in my phone old phone for around $180 I agreed. Then to be told after the guy had wiped my phone that he forgot to log out of my Apple ID so he turned the phone back on and I couldn't remember my password so he rung Apple ID for me. After speaking to them and confirming my details he then asked for the mobile number that is linked to the account (my U.K. Number that is now now longer in use) and U.K. card details I didn't have with me they were at my house. So after 3 hour i left the store went home and confirmed Apple ID details online as told. I was then told I would be contacted in three days (on my friends phone as I now don't have a working phone at all). 4 days has now gone past and I finally speak to Apple ID specialist on the phone because it has now changed to 11 days!





11 days time I will not be in Sydney anymore and 3 weeks time will not be in the country any more and won't be in a country that has an Apple store. So I am left without a phone for 6 days so far, told to ring the Apple ID specialist in Hobart when I arrive in 11 days time and hopefully then to get it sorted, but I will not have a phone that I can call them from and then if it then says another 11 days I am absolute F*cked for the next 6 months of travel alone without a phone or anyway of contacting anyone incase of an emergency.



Extremely unimpressed with the service and yes I understand the security rules of the Apple ID but am absolutely fuming with the service and now having to travel without a phone for 6 months alone if they then decided to add another few days on to these 11 days.



I will never be purchasing an Apple product again because of this matter.
