My mate had his car done here and he said they did a great job. Seeing as though my mate is not one to flippantly give praise, they must be good.

* Evasive about breaking hubcaps to service car. Did not mention they broke hubcaps, and zip-tied them to car.
* Lied about method of car radio installation. Said fuse was burnt on installation. Original fuse still intact in the back of the radio. Car fuses untouched. 100% lied. Charged $100 on this alone.
* New air conditioner and compressor is old parts according to separate mechanic.
* Air conditioner leaking in two valves and at a seal a year later (although could have been leaking after installation).

While contact here is a nice approachable guy, I feel like I've been very expensively pantsed.

These mechanics are preying mantises or snakes.

Been taking my Audi to dealership as it is still under new warranty. Went to Ashfield Automotive as I had a nail in my tyre. All the boys here were helpful and didn't make me feel uncomfortable as I know for a woman, workshops can feel quite intimidating.
Definitely will be taking my car back next year when dealership warranty runs out.

I have to change my review.

Broke my hubcabs removing them. Fitted them back to the car with zipties. Did not tell me. When I called, to say if they zip tied the wheels they were evasive to an unbelievably annoying level. It took a few minutes for them to confirm they did it, and then more to say that it was the cars fault without going in to detail. Heavily implied it was my fault, magically. Car came in with 4 hubcaps, left with 2.

This is the second infraction.

The first was when they installed my car radio after I had difficulty. All cables hooked up correctly just no power. They said I blew my radio fuse... Unfortunately the burnt fuse they gave me that they said I blew was a completely different fuse from my car radio, different colour. I mean I installed the radio, I noticed it. So they lied to me, still don't know what they did or how much it should've cost. They charged me $100 for that alone.

They prey on ignorance.

I have no faith in these mechanics, and the only reason I stuck with them was a relative swears by them. But no, that just sucks.

Update:
Completely new Air Conditioner installation from here has a valve leak... I really don't know what to say.

Second update:
My "new" air conditioner system was made of old parts according to another mechanic.

Like I hate saying bad things, but this is not good.

Great guys. Very accommodating and super service. Really happy. Strongly recommend.

I acquired a service and a blue slip from Ashfield Automotive, and I was satisfied with the turnaround time, fees and results.

The mechanic I dealt with was well-mannered, informative, and amiable.

I'll be taking my car here again for my next service.

Tony and Steve from Ashfield Automotive are good old fashion honest reliable mechanics. They have been in business for many years and have a good relationship with their customers.

I took my car here for a pink slip and came out with a huge scratch on my car (front drivers side of the bumper) while they claimed it was not possibly their fault and that I brought my car in like that. What a load of crap!!!!

Such ill diligence and a pathetic business who doesn't take care or responsibilty for their error.

Don't go here. They are dishonest and liars!
